Can't Touch This! Bet MY state gov't is worse than YOUR state gov't.

Tell me your tales of woe, but you can't touch New York State 2009 - - NYS is home of some of America's wonders... the REAL Statue of Liberty, the lovable Buffalo Bills, Niagara Falls ... the nation's most unpopular governor and a state Senate that can't vote on laws because they can't figure who is chairing the meetings! So... tell us about your government, cause nobody beats NY. At least not this year.

I'm in New York... Don't remind me... I think I'm going to cry. Our representives are acting like a bunch of bratty kids... I say throw them all out.

I'm here too, I think I'll be voting against every single incumbent on the ballot for the next few elections unless they can prove to me that they don't suck, cuz right now it sure looks like they all totally do suck.

Well, Minnesota might not "beat" New York but we have some crazy politicians over here. We wasted 6+ months "recounting" a supposedly rigged senate count - and finally Al Franken, over Norm Coleman, took the seat. I'm sure you've heard all the smack people have talked about him - most of it being true, I'm sure. And I just DON'T like Tim Pawlenty. He's just..annoying! And his priorities are all mixed up. But what's new. I have no more complaints as of right now on the rest of MN's government.

Sorry, but I happen to be quite happy with my governor, Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania. I think he may be the nation's most popular right now! At least he hasn't done anything to embarrass us, unlike several governors whose names I won't mention right now...lol! Annie

No argument from here in Ohio, at least not right now, but I think some in California might want to take you on.

Ohio, next door to last year's champ, Illinois, does have some history, but you have some high standards you should be proud of. And you are also home to the great Toledo Mud Hens, arguably the best name for a minor league baseball team in the lower 48.

valentinesdiner, I live in Toledo, and we love our Mudhens. We just finished a series with the Durham Bulls, the other most well known baseball team in America.
