Life Does Not Give A Second Chance To Succeed.....

Success is the part of life, everyone in every field want to succeed, success does not happen once, it continues with the journey of life, but the only difference is u get only one chance and in that one chance u have to proof yourself as winner. Everybody wants to be on the winners track, nobody wants to go for a looser track, its upon us how we utilize the opportunity given to us that time. that single moment or chance decides whether we will be on winners track or losers track..I have experienced it in my own life... and i know everybody does. Thoughts or comments are welcome.

I would have to disagree with you in this respect. Nature means succeeding in many ways. Failure is nothing. Another day comes which brings with it another chance to succeed. Cheers!!

I agree, underdog...failure is merely another opportunity to figure out where you went wrong and try again to get it right.

I think u did not read it carefully. I said it that success comes in every walk of life. But with every opportunity success does not come. And opportunity comes once in lifetime. U will be getting other opportunities but not the same one.

Thanks for starting this discussion. Sad to say that I messed up a lot in my life but with the grace of GodI recieved yet another chance. This time I do not have to struggle to make my life a succes because I have the living God guiding me in the right direction. I still make mistakes but through His grace and patience, He guides me back on the mission path that He has set before me. I can actualy experience this vision He gave me starting to take shape as I follow in His missional guidence. I am not letting this chance slipping through my fingers again, I am adiment to make a success, but that would only be possible for me if I stay in line with God's will for me. On my own I will fail again. Many blessings

happy to hear about your success in life. Not many people get the second chance, you are too lucky to get this opportunity. Best of luck for your future.

It's not a matter of luck, but of grace. I'm happy for you Beertje. I don't know where I'd be, and don't really want to either, if not for the grace of God. Be greatly blessed.

I think there is always a second chance.I have not done well for 3 of my public examinations in high school and now when I am in college I struggled my way through. Now I finally scored 4A and this is giving me the best result in my whole life.I've never gotten straight A's before and now I do.Failed 3 times and finally then I did it.This shows that in life there are chances and opportunities for us to do well. But for those who don't have the opportunities and chances, find it!

I believe life gives A LOT of chances to succeed, you said it yourself its a continuous process... that makes it unlimited until we die. Success also depends on ones point of view, according to his own measure or standard. I am happy and content and I regard myself a successful wife to my husband, daughter to my parents and sister to siblings or even friend to my friends... It's not a mere measure of wealth, coz if you're healthy you're quite successful in running your life... If you have a career and are satisfied you are successful in your chosen endeavor. Its a series of choices and events. Its not a failure until you stop and give up. It continues to give you a chance to grow and develop... People like me who are lucky to have a second chance in life after my successful heart surgery is on a different case too... everyday is a new beginning, a chance to make ourselves better...

Right on, pickoy! There are many people who get up every day and "keep on keepin on" in spite of chronic and/or debilitating illness, horrendous circumstance, or some catastrophic event in their lives. That alone is success in my book.

Unfortunately, when we are young, we don't look at having to succeed in life, or being a winner. You go to school, learn a profession, and hopefully you do well enough to earn good money. But, for most women, just being a wife and mother, is often the top priority. Then all of a sudden, we reach middle age, kids are gone from the house, and we suddenly realize half our life has gone by. What did we do to make a difference in this world...what do I want to do with the rest of my life. What is my dream, that I gave up, to raise a family. So, I tell everyone now, before you get married, or settle down with kids, do everything you can possibly do, so you will never regret not doing something when you get older.

I believe that a lot of my personal and professional growth was inspired by my children. I wanted to learn, to grow, and to succeed even more because of them. I don't consider anything I had to lay aside while they were growing as a "sacrifice" or something I regret. It was simply something I had to wait a little while to do. I don't have any regrets when it comes to my children except that I couldn't give them more than I did.

I have been through a lot in life, and I am proud where I am now but still on my journey to go forward and achieve my goals. I think life offers us many oppurtunities for success but at certain point that success oppurtinity comes in, we are too blindly engross on something else in our lives that we miss to take that chance to make something out of it. Yet, despite that missed chance of success, life still throws us another. When that time comes again, and we have opened our eyes to that oppurtunity, then we can grab it and make the most out of it. I don't think that life offers just one chance of oppurtunity to succeed. I believe it throws us many chances....but these are only Chances, not instant success. I think that success has to be worked for -- when you can grab that chance to do so.

I agree, we can miss opportunities, but that doesn't mean we won't get another chance to succeed. I believe that everyone, when they are ready will seize their opportunity and be successful with it, but it is a matter of readiness. Just because one grabs it, doesn't mean he or she will be successful with it either.

i don't really agree with your statement... many people had stumbled on life and they managed to get up and become successful again... it depends on you whether you can grab the opportunity when it comes to you... many people don't realise when opportunities come to them and they missed out... that's why they can't become successful... but life does give a second chance to succeed... my father is a living example and i see it myself... take care and have a nice day...

I think that success can mean many different things. To me, every day is a chance to succeed at being the best me I can be, at making the best of all that I'm given to work with. I believe, if you've stood your ground on something you believe in, if you've moved forward somehow-learned something new, accomplished something you wanted to accomplish-no matter how small, etc., and if you can look yourself in the eye when you look in the mirror at the end of the day, then you have been successful today. I also believe that the only way you'll find yourself on the "losers' track" is by giving up.

As the other responders have already posted, there is such a thing as a second, third and beyond chance if you have the determination to keep trying or to start over in a new direction. I have had different careers in my life...have had different goals. The only constant in life is that every day is a new day. It's up to you what you do with it. One thing that winners have in common is that they believed in themselves.

I agree with you completely. The wheels will keep turning as long as you don't park it.
