I got a couple of these because they were on sale...two for three bucks. They have the ice cream beads in the bottom and you add skim milk to have a shake at home....I got chocolate and strawberry....I wouldn't buy them again. You are supposed to loosen the beads of ice cream before you add the milk...well that took an act of God to get them loosened up.....and the flavor left alot to be desired. I would much rather go to McDonalds and get a shake then waste my money on these! FYI

Thanks for the warning. This shaker sounds yucky and using my muscles to move beads around doesn't sound like something I'd like to do. I haven't been in the store to buy groceries in years. My husband likes to go so it's his job. I will run in to buy a couple of things if he is out of town. Speaking of McDonald's, I haven't had a shake from McDonald's in years.

Thanks for the tip, JILL.I have never seen them so guess i'm safe. Istill love the dq's shakes the best but don't know when i have ever had one. Sure don't need any shakes. 
U have to have a reat every once in awhile.

Aww, and here I thought you were going to say how tasty they were. What a bummer....it just sounds so good and yummy but I'll take your word for it. I don't think I have to strength right now to shake them up, haha, since you said it would take an act of God. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm glad!lol I love McDonalds chocolate shakes! They are
the best! I haven't had one of them in years! I have been
having a craving for one lately but I very rarely go to
McDonalds if I can help it! My boyfriend goes in there all
the time! He loves that dollar menu!

I think they are great. A simple couple bangs on the counter add milk to the thickness you desire and there you go! My kiddos LOVE them! Don't go by what one person tells you, you should try it out for yourself. Why whould you waste your time money and gas on McDonalds? Atleast you can have your milk shake the way YOU want it.
