I mainly use my cell phone to get the time as my watch is broken. Whenever I am asked for the time I reach for my cell phone. I have realiseed that I am not the only person who does this. I sleep with my cell under my pillow and its the first thing I reach for in the mornings to check the time. What is your main time piece?

I use my cell phone and my TV's cable box. I used to wear a watch, but it was never comfortable, for me. I keep meaning to buy another watch, because sometimes it's not convenient for me to use my phone (if it's stuck in my pocket, or I'm already doing something on my phone), but I never remember to. We don't have any wall clocks in the house... but I must say, I do like checking the time on one, when there's one somewhere outside of the house. Wall clocks are easier for me to check... no pulling my cell out, no trying to check the small numbers on the cable box. I used to sleep with my cell phone next to my pillow, but I've heard that they emit radiation, so it's not good to sleep next to them. I try to keep it as far away from me, as possible, when I sleep...

lol Yeah, I like to keep my phone near me, for the same reason. I put it on a table near by, or on the chair that's next to my bed. I can still get to it, but it's not right by me.

Well I am completely lost without my watch and wear it all the time. I need an alarm clock by my bed so I can see the time in the night but I can no longer rely on an electric one with alarm as the power goes off frequently in the night and even if only for a moment it will stop the alarm going off. So now I have to rely on the mobile phone as an alarm clock.

I use the wall clock and the computer as my time piece, because my computer is always open and i am staying at home doing my lot and house chores.

It has been ages for me since i last wore a wrist watch. I always use my mobile phone for such purpose. It's practical, no need to carry more accessories on you. Oh and by the way, try to put your mobile far from you while sleeping. It will help you stay healthily away from radioactive rays and also it will force you to get up to reach your mobile when it rings early in the morning ;)

You are actually the second mylotter to mention the radio ctive effects. Guess I'll rethink that but I love having my phone close to me at nights. I dont worry about early calls as I get very little of those and they are far and inbetween. Got to discipline my friends that way you know happy mylotting

For alarms I use my cellphone as it has an extremely efficient alarm clock system that works very well for me but when I am already awake a not-so-expensive, low-radar wristwatch is best especially when I'm on the road, walking, or generally when I am in a public place and I am not very confident in flashing my phone just to check the time.

That depends where I am. If I'm in my living room I rather look at the Clock than at my Cell or whatever. If I'm not in my house I'm gonna use my Cellpone to check the time...
