Are you really enjoying Facebook?

I have an account at Facebook, just like everybody else here, right? Do you enjoy being an FB member? So what really made you stay with Facebook, aside from being connected with your friend? There are lots of members inviting me to join this kind, and that kind of applications. There are FarmVille, Restaurant City, etc. But as of this time, I only have Pet Society which I really enjoy. What applications do you have now? And what do you enjoy doing or playing most, when you are in Facebook?

Some application games keep me on Facebook for an hour or could be more, I guess I simply enjoy it despite them being mere games. I guess I still kinda enjoy giving comments and posting on friends' walls, posting up pictures and tagging friends in them, also recently having fun doing the quizzes. There's still something I like about FB, basically, and that's not limited to it I guess. But then, I come here these days, quite new here, and been getting new ideas on things to talk about with different people - at the end of the day, if I even get paid for it, then it should be fun as well.

Dear crazynified, Sometimes, I thought of leaving FB for I thought that I am just wasting my time playing games. But there are just some things that keep me there and I don't know why or it's just that I can't explain it. I always find myself coming back on here, maybe because of the need of an extra income. Dear janebeth, I remember when we started playing Pet Society, you always play the game, trying to get you pet baby des fit. You will always find time to get online for your baby des and keep your paw points high, higher that you can be near my pet reign. Neil

I really enjoy the games on Facebook especially Scrabble and Bejewelled me and my friend often compete against each other in it to see who can get the highest score a bit of friendly rivalry is great fun. I also play farm town although do not play it as often as I use to as the novelty has worn off a bit. I do sometimes get a bit fed up with all the applicants I get sent as it can get rather annoying getting the same one over and over again.

Dear littleone3, What I have right now is only Pet Society. I always receive invitations for FarmVille, Farm Town, Restaurant City, and others. But I can't find some more time to try them all. I actually starting to get bored with PetSoc and thought of deleting it from my account. What I want to get concentrated with is writing notes, connecting to people within my work and communicating with people in the media. I know people in this field of work will be of great help in the future, but I don't in what part of my life. But still, mylot is number one for me. Neil

Dear jayrene, I am also new at Facebook, I guess about two months only. Maybe that's the reason I am so addicted now. But there are sometimes I get bored. And I really found it a waste of time playing games. But I will continue my account and monitor the group I have created there. Neil

I like facebook better than myspace now. I am just about ready to delete my myspace. One thing about both sites that bothers me is the constant receiving of application requests. One thing I like about FB better is the lack of strangers adding me. On myspace everyday I had 20 new friend requests from people across the world. I seem to actually have my "real" friends on FB.

Dear carlas, Well actually, what I like most with Facebook is the real identity of the person you are adding as friends. Even with friendster, you can create more accounts and hide your true identity, and I guess that goes too with myspace? Neil

I really enjoy the flash games on facebook. Its fun where there is a a list of your friends top scores and you are trying to beat their's. Its fun and when you are trying to beat a score it can become incredibly addictive.

Yes that's true. And when your ahead of them, you will try to score more so they can't get near you. It's really fun and enjoying.

I guess mostly is for networking purposes as some of the old friends that I've lost contact with pops up there, haha!~Well, as for the game apps, those aren't really that attractive other than for the sole purpose of decorating your facebook outlook / display so that it won't look so empty? Haha!~ Oh & yes, definitely a good place to promote business due to the high traffic there

Dear zweeb, That is I think why FB and other social networking sites were made, to connect new friends and re-connect old friends. With the applications, I just stick with Pet Society and like one of my friends here and that site said, promoting our sites like mylot, FB is really a great tool. Neil

There are lots praising facebook and many of my pals invited me there so I joined. It's a good site but I don't think it's something special. It's just like the other social networking sites with additional features. I don't do many games so I really find the site boring and ordinary. One friend tried to chat with me there but I find it odd having to be glued to the site just to answer her so I asked her to chat with me in YM instead which is much much better. But I do maintain my account at the site. I actually linked my blog with it so my friends can do some reading when they feel like doing so.

Dear eichs1, I like the site though I don't play a lot. I tried some applications and became a fanatic of Pet Society for some times. But I became bored and thought the same, it's the same ordinary common social networking site. But there is really one thing I like most with FB than other sites, it reveals true identity of the user. I found new friends at FB, true people. Neil

There are some times I get annoyed with one of my officemates. She calls my attention everytime she has problem with Pet Society. Everything about PetSoc, she calls my attention, asking what's this and what's that, and so on. And I feel some kinda angry for there are times that she uses my computer and I can't do anything. But I can't blame her for I was the one who invited her to try Facebook.

Friendster seems much easier to use, my sister said that she doesn't really understand how to use Facebook well when she first signed up. But oh well, my Friendster's been deleted already, nothing much can be done there either.

Well, I haven't joined Facebook yet. But I am thinking about it. It seems everyone I talk to is a member. And now, there are people here on myLot discussing Facebook. I think if I were to join it, it would be for 2 reasons. One reason would be so that I could enjoy pictures that my friends have placed on the site. I guess they feel that it is secure and private, so they have a tendency to place their pics there. The other reason would be for a little publicity. I could put my myLot referral link on there and try to get some referrals. I could also link some of the articles and blogs that I have there and maybe some people would read them. It seems like a pretty good idea. Maybe I'll join tomorrow.

Dear kykidd, Nice to hear that. Actually, when I first heard about FB, I said I won't be needing that. I already have lots of sites to maintain and I already have mylot. Everywhere, I hear something about FB. And I thought of one great idea, that FB might be one great tool to catch media people's attention. There are already some instances that those people from the media, at least in our place, reesponse in my notes when I tag them. Neil

I have no idea what takes place on facebook. i became a member through invitation some long time ago but really did not see much sense in the site. I doubt I have visited that site seven times. Hi5 is just about the same. I hardly connect with friends on those sites. I prefer to chat with them through ims.

Dear tjades, If you have friendster, myspace or hi5, Facebook is almost the same. Compared to friendster, FB has applications like games that you can play within and even chat from within the site. There are still lots of applications but I rather not to discover them. I enjoy Facebook but I love mylot. mylot is the best site for me. Neil

I have a Facebook account because my son asked me to join. I hardly ever go there and even forget that I have the account most of the time. It's only when I get a message from someone through my email that I remember it. Most of my online time is spent right here in myLot. I enjoy it here so much and have made so many great friends that I can't imagine enjoying myself more anywhere else. Plus, my online time is limited even more right now because of the season and my love of gardening. Whenever the weather is nice, I try to get outside and do a little gardening done. So, I really can't add to your Facebook question. I've only used it to get in touch with my sons or answer them when they write to me through it. Maybe one day I'll look around Facebook some more and even participate more but, for now, I'll stick with myLot.

I really really enjoy Facebook. I never imagined chatting with my old friends but because of Facebook it came true. I have all of those applications you mentioned and I also have farmtown, mafia wars, street racing, typing maniac, etc. There are so many games that I love playing in Facebook that sometimes I get really tired. But despite me being tired I enjoy all of the games.

I do enjoy being on Facebook, it allows me to keep in contact with all my old friends that I dont see anymore theese days, and also helps me to keep in contact with my current friends, and just relax and have a chat. It also allows me to see what friends are doing and when ;) I also love playing the applications there, I use Mafia Wars, FarmVille, Poker and a few more.
