It seems after only a week or so of being on mylot, I am addicted. It didn't take long and I'm really not even on that much. However, I find myself racing to get on the internet and logging into mylot as soon as I sit down at a computer.... How long have you been a member of mylot and how long did it take for you to become addicted? What makes it addictive for you? The money? The friends? The conversations / discussions? To me, I think it's a combination of all of them, but mostly the discussions...they can just be so interesting at times!

How on earth did you make $264? Tasks? Or do you just have that many referrals that are addicted as well? LOL!

Thru the tasks - I don't really post that much. I like to write and it's an easy way to make a few bucks - a few bucks turned into quite a few. I also started writing for textbroker but I only made 100 in June. Not too shabby - It's a great part time gig and I can do it anywhere. For the tasks here they usually give you 8 hours to write 4 paragraphs with at least 4 sentences in each - so 16 sentences. Pretty easy stuff.

Addicted.......... Hey vipersworld, what's up? Well let me tell you that I"ve been here at my lot about four months as of today. I think it was about two weeks into it after I started that I begin to get addicted. Mainly it's the fact that I can sit down and send a message to someone and receive a message back without having to go any place. I had a pretty bad hip injury that I had gotten from a fall so it was kind of hard for me to move around for a while there. But recently I've been finding myself getting better and better so now at least I can get up and exercise. But for a while there I was starting to think that I would be out of commission for quite some time. I guess the friends is the next most attractive feature. Because there again, I can meet people right here on line and not even have to go anywhere. My hubby thinks this is a great venue for me since I love to run my mouth anyhow. So far things have worked out just fine. Of course the more that I learn and start to see the money starting to add us. It makes me think that all of my patience and effort is finally starting to pay off. Well I'm wishing you all the best and I want you to know that I'm here for you if you need me. Please add me as a friend and let's get busy chatting. Take care. Peace out...... Happy mylot!

Thank you for sharing, and I'm sorry to hear about your hip! At least you found something to keep you occupied and happy as well. It's always good to have online friends. I have many many online friends and they have helped me in many situations that I wouldn't have been able to do without them. Computer problems mostly, but hey, help is help, and that's because of online friends!

I think it is everything that makes it an addiction, but what really started the addiction for you? For me, it was seeing my account raise each and every day. But soon after, the discussions pushed the addiction through the roof!

hello there! i admit i am certified mylot addict! but i didn't get addicted that fast...i am already 8 months here but i just get addicted here some 2 months ago...at first i really didn't enjoy and appreciate this site coz i think earnings are slow, i feel like i will not enjoy the discussions and i feel like i will have difficulty in posting discussions for english is not my mother tongue... but i don't know what happen, all of a sudden by mid may, i just find myself visiting this site again, checking on the discussions, and reply to some, comment to some and ideas just came out to my mind and i posted discussions! from then i did not notice how time have passed and i just find my self wanting to be here all the time...plus the earning rewards adds some kicks on my addiction here... actually i think, i get addicted here coz i started appreciating the discussions, enjoying the site, have fun, learn new things everyday, share my thoughts, improve my writing, english and typing skills, gain new friends and as a bonus earn some cents! so that's the reason why i am now a certified mylot addict! by the way...welcome to this nice place!

I would have to say that if you find yourself coming to this site to "see" if you have a message or someone has replied to a discussion you started or comment on a comment of yours, that you are addicted. Maybe not as much as others, but still addicted.

I was almost addicted. Then I had to work on something else, so I got a break from Mylot. I feel the reason behind addiction is definitely the money. As you see your account growing slowly everyday, one will get really motivated. The second reason could be the curiosity in reading interesting topics and the responses posted by other mylotters.

I do feel that watching my account increase was definitely what started my addiction. It was definitely a booster on returning day after day. But once you continue to come back over and over, the rush of having someone share their thoughts on one of your posts or comments also adds to the addiction. I feel that the money started the addiction, but the discussions pushed it through the top.

I know how you feel, as I am addicted to mylot as well. I'm not 100% sure how or why I've become so addicted to mylot, but all that I know is that I am and I'm definitely glad that I found this site and became so addicted to it.

That's most of what Mylotters can tell here. It will be addictive specially if you are really earning money here. I have been here 5 months now and i was able to receive money here for four times now. I have met friends here and I keep on participating on every discussion that I can relate to and just like you, the fever of participating here is really high. You should also try to invite your friends because it can add something for your account. Anyway, I welcome you to Mylot. Hope you remain the same and keep it up here. If there is any queries you like to ask, just don't hesitate to ask me or pm me

I guess you could say I am addicted, as I just can't seem to pull myself away from here. I should be doing other things outside, but it is just to hot and nice and cool in the house, so that is my excuse for being here. I really like this site so much that even at night when I am sleepy, it is hard to get off and go to bed. It is so hard, since I am having so much fun. When I first came in, I thought about the money, but as time went on, I realized that isn't the most important thing. The most important thing is to be able to share our views with others from all over the world. Being able to express them without fear of ridicule. I just want to be here for as long as I can, even when I should be in bed. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I find myself at work logging in here and being on waaaay too long! I should be working right now, but instead, I am on here reading and typing. At least it's a Friday and most of the office is off today. Just figured I would come in and get some OT, but I guess I get to post on mylot too! HAHA!

Well, its not a long time I've been here but, I can say one thing, a person can get addicted to myLot in mere 1-2 weeks. The discussions cover almost every topic, from personal to public to professional, everything!! And it feels exhilarating expressing your views, opinions and giving suggestions. The relate to the basic amenities and sometimes there are so many ideas about a topic to write!! Its really great...

When I was new here in Mylot I become addicted to Mylot. Everywhere I go I always have a notebook and a pen, because I feel anytime I can see or pick a topic around me. I was addicted to be starter of discussion , I like when someone was replying to my discussion. When I wake up I thought of Mylot and thinking of what will I contribute. But at present, I just treat Mylot as my second home. I gained friends here, I just drop by because I want to check on my friends discussion and to help them somehow. Mylot became a part of everyones life.

I don't even remember how long ago when I first joined mylot but I think I may have been addicted to it in the beginning when I spent over 5 hours a day on here but not so much anymore. I liked people responding to my discussions and it was the money that made me join this site.

Hello, Viper - and welcome to myLot! I think I've been here about a year (can't really remember) - but I've met some really lovely people who make me laugh and cheer me up! They are from all different parts of the world, which is great - and very interesting. I'm definitely not here for the money, as I don't even have a PayPal account to put it in - but I really enjoy some of the quirky discussions and the hilarious ideas people have. Sometimes I go a few days without visiting at all ... but I always end up coming back! I hope you enjoy your time here and make lots of new friends.

Ha, ha! I had that problem in the beginning as well. I would set a limit and still be at the computer hours later.
