oh i agree, it can be quite frustrating as it has become such an addiction. if there is no internet, u try and do some workouts or go and play some pool,basketball,etc.i love walking too, so don't mind going out for a walk. if it is raining,even better as i love the rains.

Hello friend, you are so very right. We are so used to internet these days that we cannot imagine life without 24 hours internet access. Whenever the connection goes down, even for ten minutes while I'm using it, I feel like shouting at my ISP and lodging complaints and all. I know it's a bad addiction but then, I really can't help it out now.

Yes, it can be quite tricky to say the least..... The connection here is okay most of the time, but because it's 'wireless', can be quite temperamental at times. Noticed one evening when I played quite a few 'You Tube' music videos, some in HD (high definition), that I then couldn't get access to email, so the main thing is staying within the bandwidth, not using up too much capacity. Because of the internet, generally don't seem to read so much, but when its down, then is a good reason....

Sometimes even i get dog rain here and my internet connection suffers hell lot, Yes i am also addicted to the internet badly.I just cant stay without it.I have been with it since a very long time and now i dont find the need where i need friends, before i always starved for good friends and i never got one but since i got my internet i wasd always happy and sad whatever it may be i would deal with it.I feel its my best friend sometimes.its rather sad that a machine can be my best friend than a sad human who are fake.

Ino the pain all too well lol, I go barking mad when the internet doesnt respond. When it finally comes on i have such a huge sigh of relief and i feel so much happier :)

Oh I know the feeling. When I am staying with my parents I have high speed DSL and also I do have a laptop. However at my fiances we have no cell service and I go through a cell phone to connect to the net with my laptop. I could get a desktop and go with a phone line but honestly it is way too much hassle and everyone on the ridge there have it so it would be so slow. So I don't even think about it. I as well can't get DSL as that is even more hassle than itself. So what I do when there is nothing to do on a stormy day. We usually put on a movie. Best thing since the TV is also out but your disc player will always work. I also will clean the house and read. So there is things that you can find to do and live without the internet for a few hours.

yeah I can't stand not being able to get on the internet. My how times have changed. You should have put on your slicker and boots and went and played in the rain as a child. You might have had fun. LOL! I wish it would rain here so bad. We had alot of rain that it was flooding and now we have not had any in a month and it is so dry and horrible.

that would get to me terrible also. i spend a lot of my time on here. not much else to do. i'd watch tv and go through some of my old junk but it wouldnt be as good.

Yes, it is.. i'll be insane without the internet.. i don't have a real job due to my illness and i only make some real cash online.. you know, internet's been helping me to make my life a lot easier.. i don't think i could ever support my needs particularly my medical needs without the help of the internet..

I would be very upset if I didn't have the internet connection. I had a little trouble with my connection early yesterday and it was sooooo frustrating. Mine had nothing to do with anything but a cord that had been knocked loose, but it took me a little while to figure it out. I do work outside the home as well asw on my computer, so I try reallt hard to stick to a schedule. I work outside the home during the daytime and in the evening, I am on my computer. When my schedule gets disrupted, aspecially when it is due to something beyond my control, such as problems with my internet connection, I get frustrated. Normally, the housework is done before I even sit down at my computer, so if my connection is out, I end up reading or watching t.v.

Yes, I have the same feeling with you, I don't know what to do if have no internet access, last weekend for some reason I can't go to internet at home, and the TV has no signal, it's really boring, I don't know what to do, so I read a book for a few pages, then I sleep a whole afternoon.

i completely understand how you feel! my mom borrowed my computer to go to the apple store for lessons and i felt like something was missing. i was able to fill my time by doing some cooking (i made fudge, and it took 20 minutes to make) but i really couldn't wait until she came her to give it to me. i also worked on cleaning my room and organizing clothing and old papers that were lying around my room.

I must admit that I would give up many things before I gave up my internet access. It is a big part in my daily life and I can not imagine going without it. I suppose that I do have a little bit of an addiction. I do procrastinate a lot on the internet, but I also get quite a lot of work done too. It is truly a lifesaver I would not want to go without.

ooops...I really cannot think of myself without internet. If such thing happens to me, I will go mad and then I will start to feel depressed. Internet now a days is doing so many things for us that we can never even imagine being without internet. I even access internet in my mobile when on the move....Cheers...

We did not have a lot of money come in last month so my internet got shut off for almost 20 days. I thought that i was going to go crazy, i had to find other things to do. It was also hard having no cable either...so we had no internet or tv.

Yes according to me it is really painful to have no internet access because our life does not exists without internet. internet now becomes one of our growing need. as one can access anything fro the internet whether it is academics, medical or any field with full details.

Yes it is quite frustrating when you want to use the internet for some work but you cannot use it because of many reasons like no electricity, ISP problem etc. When I'm not able to access internet I just go outside house for a walk or I do some study.

Yea i am addicted to internet too. I spent about 10 hrs daily on internet. You had only a day without internet but here internet is disconnected time to time do to some problem in company which provides me internet. I feel very bored and painful. I keep on checking once in every five minutes. Also Call to the internet provider. Sometime they fix soon but sometimes they take more days. Once I had no internet for 3 days due to this problem.:( Anyway i hope this wont happen to u and me ....Happy mylotting!!!
