I have two bobtail cats, that my sister just gave me, what should i name them? They are both black and white. One is male, and one is female.

I don't have any names to share. I think you should just give them a few days for their personalities to show, then those names will probably just pop into your head!

Here are some ideas: Boggie and Bacall. Bonnie and Clyde. Sonny and Cher. Mylie and Cyrus. Sun and Moon. Venus and Pluto. Frankie and Johnnie. Pearl and Jet. Bianca and Nero. Dot and Dash. Let us know what names you decide on. Congratulations.

You sure do have some interesting names listed. I am still deciding, so i will be sure to put which names i choose for these two cats. They sure are not like ordinary house cats.

I really liked momiecat's suggestions, especially Bonnie/Clyde and Pearl/Jet. I think you should probably give them a few days for their personalities show. My kitten was filled with personality from the beginning, so I named him Tobais (Toby for short) after one of my favorite characters in the musical "Sweeney Todd." Maybe you will find some inspiration for names from your favorite tv show, movie, or book.

Hi Ink, I appreciate your stating you liked my choices. I recently had to name 2 of my kittens and named them Oscar and Emmy. Emmy is shy but day by day coming out of her shell. Oscar is wild. They are so much fun. I do have to adopt them out because my husband says we have too many! It will be hard letting them go but I have enjoyed raising them. They are 9 weeks old today! :)
