How would you feel if one day you went to log in and you had been banned?

I dknow how I would feel. I would feel awful, not to mention I would question what I could have done to get banned. However, I think mylot will only ban those that cause trouble and violate the TOD. At least they should be banned, especially the spammers that come in here and give us grief not to mention trying to get us to fall for there stupid schemes. How would you all feel if that happened to you? Please share with everyone. Have a wonderful day, and happy mylotting.

I suspect that I would feel a little offended by such action. I never break the rules and would feel quite unjustly treated.

@rosekiss It may have been a time when they had to pay the hosting fee for the site and decided to suspend several members to save money.

@Asylum That could be too. They could have been truthful, instead of making something up. I would have thought more of them, than I do now. I won't recommend that site to anyone.

Hey sounds very bad to me, actually I have that experience, recently I was banned from one of the site, and I was dam sure that I have not voilated any rules over there, but one fine day when I tried loggin in I got the message that I am banned. I was really thinking very deeply on that why the hell I was banned. I felt that I have done some kind of mistake and thats why I am not allowed to access the site. I was very angry with the admin at first, but later on when my temper was cooled down, I told myself, that those admins have so much to handle and take care, they must be right on their part, so I left thinking about that now. But still I feel something missing or bad haappened to me because I was banned on one site. Anyways good experience for me. Hope this will not get repeated in future.

I am sorr to hear that you got banned from another site. It doesn't seem fair that it happened to you, but you know, you probably didn't do anything wrong. It could be the admin had it in for your, and if that is the case, the was totallly wrong. I do think that when a person gets banned, they do have a right to know why, and what they did to cause it. It only seems fair to me, to let people know. That way, you would know not to let that happen anywehere else. I do think that mylot is fair though, as they don't ban people unless they have rally violated the TOS. Hurray for mylot. Thank you for your response and happy mylotting.

I agree with you. I have finally got to the point where I will get payout for June and hopefully for July. I am sure going to work at it, but something always seems to get in the way, like babysitting my grandkids. I am like you, I have made a lot of friends too, and I would hate to lose all of them, and lose the time I have had in here sharing with others from around the world. I would be lost if if I couldn't do that. thank ou for your response, and have a good day.

Hi rosekiss, It would be terrible. As you said i will be trying to find out all the reasons why it would have happened. It is something that i don't want to happen. But we don't have to worry about it as long as we are obeying all the rules and regulations. And if it happens i will come back with a new account hehe.

So what happened rose? Do you know someone or were you banned from a site? I know someone that was banned. It was was very traumatic for them. hey had made some good friends and then had no way to get in touch with them after that. They were very upset. So what's going on?

No, I have never been banned and I am glad for that. I was just curious about others though as it seems to be happening and the don't know why. However, I don't think that mylot would do that unless they warned us first. I think warning someone that they might get banned for one reaon or another, would give them the incentive to want to do hat is right so that it wouldn't happen. I have never viloated the TOS anywwhere, at least not to my knowledge anyway. I try so hard to do what is right so that won't happen, especially here as this is the last place I would ever want to get banned from. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

I would be upset. Not all the people that get banned were breaking the rules. I have heard of several people that were banned just because they made someone mad and the someone complained enough. They never did hear a real reason from admin. Or they just didn't get ANY reason. It's funny, but I noticed that alot of spammers keep their accounts but people who posted fairly mellow topics get banned. Go figure.

Yea, I know what you mean. The hones ones that nver start trouble gt banned, but the ones that shouls be banned don't. It doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever, but then mylot would probably ave their reasons, whether we understand them or not. Thank you for your resoponse, and happy mylotting.

I certainly am careful to not commit any violations so that it doesn't happen. So... if I were to log on and find I had been banned I would be very mad and try to find out why as I would feel it had been done by mistake!

I agree with you there as I avoid those too. There sure are enough where the people keep posting links, but those are pretty much the new members that really didn't read the TOS. I sometimes will post a respnse so I can tell them that they shouldn't be posting linkes and they are thankful for that too. Thank you for your response and have a very good day.
