A legislators initiative to rewrite the Philippine constitution may push the stalling economy into reverse. To promote participatory governance they will reduce poverty and attain social equity by increasing the productivity of the people particularly the marginalized sectors such as the farmers fisher folk and urban poor thereby placing them in a comfortable position to participate effectively in natural resource and environmental protection. To achieve this and lift the nation from a state of inertia the country needs a new breeds of leaders who are competent and service oriented.

rewriting the constitution is a very big step. I suppose we need to start small first. be a wise voter and a vigilant citizen. By the way ,how is the government under Pnoy going? I hope he is someone who really cares for the country but he cannot do it alone. We, the Filipinos have to support him. sorry for responding so late but I really need to respond.
