I am wearing shorts, it's hot. It's always hot on the forth of July. But by the time the fireworks are over tonight we will be happy to use our blankets to cover up. Hope you all have a wonderful holiday and enjoy our independence day.

This year, for us, it was actually pretty chilly - especially at night. I slept in a tent, and I needed about 5 blankets just to stay cozy. The high in the daytime was 75 and at night I think it went down to 55 or so. Not totally sure..But it's interesting how location can totally change how we both enjoy (or don't enjoy) our holidays!

I think the weather is more important on the 4th than any other celebrations that we have, probably because it is an outdoor type.

Congratulation you on your independence day. Weather is not a barrier to celebrate this happy occasion.

You have a wonderful 4th too. The weather here has been pleasant. Hot but not humid and cool at night. I will be happy to snuggle up in a blanket tonight after the fireworks.

Hi Pat, and happy 4th of July! It isn't hot at all here today, more like September than July. I remember one year taking my daughters to see fireworks. We still had shorts on from earlier in the day, but by nightfall, it had dropped down to 45 deg.! Thank God for those blankets you mentioned! Karen
