I listen to other languages too. Spanish, English, Swedish, Russian are some languages that i listen song. Sanna Nielsen and Roxette is the Swedish singer i love to listen to their songs. Vitas is the Russian i love to listen and watch his videos and live performances in youtube videos. In Spanish i could not remember the male singer i am listening to and oi have no particular language in preferences to listen to the song. The melody and beat of the song is the first thing i notice and lyrics will follow after.

Bengali is quite similar to hindi in speaking. But the Bengali litarature and the written language is tough. But you must have heard, the language is very 'sweet'.

I also listen to foreign songs like spanish, korean, and chinese. I'm Filipino I only uderstand Tagalog, English songs and some regional songs. If I want the melody of the music even I don't understand the lyrics I keep listening to it like Jaiho the Indian version the melody is good. I can sing the spanish song because it is very easy to memorize. When the chinese group F4 is very popular here in the Philippines many sing their songs even if they can't pronounce the lyrics of the song they don't mind it.

I love listening to music in other languages than my own and I collect music from other countries. When I visit another country I usually buy some cds so that I can get to know some of the local singers. I have discovered a lot of great music that way Aside from Danish and English I have listened to music in Swedish, Finnish, German, Polish, Estonian, Hungarian, Russian, French, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Dutch, Swiss German, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian etc. I especially love Italian music, and I bought a lot of cds when I was living in Italy.

Hi srisankeerth, Well i also listen to songs from different languages like Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, English and many more. For me more than the language the music is important. As that say music does not have a language it just talks to the soul. The languages which i prefer is Malayalam, Hindi, English as i can understand it better but sometimes if the song is nice i do listen to other languages too. If the music is wonderful then the language doesn't matter right? Happy Mylotting.

you understand several languages. i admire that since the upbringing we get in the uk usually means we can only speak english (i can speak spanish too but that is uncommon). i tried to learn hindi a while ago and found it pretty difficult.

Definitely not. tHE only time I really listened to foreign music was in Japanese class when we were learning about it. It's kind of sad; in the US - we have little to no exposure to foreign music - at least socially. There's like NO exposure of it on radio channels or MTV or anything like that. I had a few friends that really liked Japanese and Korean pop music - but I never really got into it. It's cool that you're into so many different types of music.

I love listening to music in foreign languages. Of course, I listen to music in English (my first language), but I have a huge collection of music from a variety of languages. I have music that's in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Russian, French, German, Thai, different kinds of Celtic, Cymraeg, Finnish, Hungarian, Romanian, Swedish, and probably more that I am forgetting. I can understand most of the Japanese songs I have or can at least translate them with a little help from my trusty kanwa-jiten (kanji dictionary).

I am a Chinese girl, and I like to listen to Chinese popular song, and sometimes I would like to listen to some English songs, sometimes I will choose to listen to Japanese songs or Korean songs. Though could not get to know the meanings of some songs, because there is no boundary of music towards countries, so just enjoy it, the beautiful melody, that is enough.
