I think robots will eventually play a major role in society. I don't think they will ever totally replace the human race. We need to be careful and make sure they do not become to powerful.

No... They can never do that. However intelligent they are made, rememeber they are made by a man and can do what they are made to do. They cannot think and do anything even though you gave artficial intelligence to them. AI is again a program fed to them. They can be deadly weapons... but cannot over power the superiority of the human brain.
