CE- It's funny just how in-depth astrology can become. I use both the Western and Eastern zodiacs, and I've had a friend do my astrology chart for me which pointed out that not only am I ruled by the moon, but that Mars plays quite a role in my day to day dealings. In terms of the Western zodiac, I'm cancerian on the cusp of gemini and cancer. I'm very emotionally attached, a home body, and I'm a fierce protector of those I care about. Both of our children are Leo's and they are the "center of attention". They are both very much leaders, have a presence that let's you know when they are in a room, and they make friends easily. It's funny because whenever we go out we have more people coming to speak to the kids then you can imagine. They are always drawn to them saying "Oh, how sweet", etc. We even have restaurants we frequent where we've been told by various managers how they just love when we bring our children in because they just make their day! Now, where it gets interesting is when we look at the Chinese zodiac. I feel that one is even more accurate for our distinctive personalities. I'm a water rat, and very much so. I'm cautious about everything I do, I am frugal yet will be extragavent with my family and friends. I can be very feisty if pushed into a corner, to the point of turning around and destroying things. I am crafty and will set things up to suit me. I'm very good with money investments, and tend to always have a stock pile of necessities. My husband is a horse, and very free like a horse. Where as I need a schedule, he's more free. He can be very stubborn though. He will respect authority if it's given right, but will buck anyone trying to "force" him. My son is a dog, and is as loving as the dog. He's compassionate, laid back, and yet very protective of his family. His sister is a rat like me, and right now is in her manipulative stage, turning everything around so she gets the attention. Namaste-Anora

I follow horoscopes every now and again and there are certain parts that I believe in only because they do seem to fit my personality but there is also another part of me that doesn't believe or follow it because it is seems a bit of a joke to me. I am a Taurus born April 21st. I guess I am a bull to a point but I am also one that keeps quiet and stands down. I don't really follow that daily horoscope type things but I do think it is canny like you how right on some of them are.

I'm a Taurus. I really don't know what that entails about my personality but I'm a hard-working, competitive, humorous, sometimes stubborn, very relaxed person. If this is along the lines of what a Taurus should be like then I'm pretty impressed because I'm not really into horoscopes.

Even though I'm a very skeptical person, I also find the similarities astonishing. And when so many cases seem to pile up, I just wonder how do they manage to describe a person's personality so accurate just because of their zodiacal sign. I'm also a Libra and most of the stuff written about them is a good description of myself. Also I get to see how compatibilities between zodiacal signs are also quite accurate. That helps me alot when trying to understand other persons that have a sign that's not compatible to me, so I can lower as much as possible conflicts between us. It probably has something to do with the period you're born under, that some universal energies affect the way we respond to external and internal phenomena. But other than that I really don't have a good explanation and a scientist would easily break my arguments. As much as I like logical explanations and science, I'll just have to pass this one and say, "oh well, it's a mystery", instead of using the "it's just a coincidence" line.

I'm a skeptic about most everything (including religion) but each astrological sign characteristic seems to fit every person I come in contact with. I guess it's my one superstition aside from aliens...I definitely don't believe in horoscope rubbish though. I'm a Cancer. Home-loving, motherly, sensitive, imaginative, intuitive.

Hi there. Like your daughter i am also a Libran and i possess all the qualities that a Libran has. Now this is according to the Western astrological signs. I am from India and we follow the Hindu astrological method. Therefore according to this method i am actually a Scorpio and i also have some of the qualities of a Scorpio. Hi celticeagle, Like you I too am too sceptical about the horoscope thing. I do not know exactly how horoscope is treated in your place out there but in here, I mean in India Horoscope plays a great role. But what I see all disturbing about horoscope is that most of them are not written by expert and the quacks have great hands and without the proper knowledge of the star position and all necessary things while preparing a horoscope they make one for you and you follow it in its fullest and the result is non coherence in the character of the person and the zodiac and horoscope. I am a Scorpio too but most of Scorpio characters are missing in me. now tell what is this?

I'm a scorpio - born november 9th

I am a Sagittarius. I am very much like my sign - curious, always wanting to learn new things, love to travel, optimistic, independent and I have somewhat of a temper. It describes me perfectly.

I am soprry but i don´t believe a word from the horoscope. I just think it is everything invented, from the beginning to its end. I have examined the whole year´s horoscope and i found out that, according to it, anybody should be murderer, stealer, etc. because there isn´t that in any month. Really, it is a way of earning money by a dishonest way, don´t pay attention to that stuff. It might fit to you and your daughter but it won´t fit to everyone in the world, and you know that, so just forget it. At least i would do that. Best Regards

I think that I fit the typical Taurus profile, celticeagle: Stubborn, steadfast and loyal, really down to earth. With me what you see is what you get. My oldest daughter is also a Libra, and she does exhibit those characteristics just like your daughter.
