Cotabato Bombings

I heard last night about the Cotabato Bombings and was disturbed by it since it was done rather in front of a Catholic church when there were lots of people attending Sunday mass. Although there was a few casualty in there I am just dismayed that there are people who are so inclined to create religious wars in that area where it should not be so. If it was just to show how weak this Government is why do they need to bomb just to sow fear. I may not be a firm supporter of this present administration but I would not resort to violence just to show our disgust against the government. I still yearn for a peaceful negotiations between disputes than use arm and terror to get what they want. Anyway let us just pray for those victims of this bombing and hope that whoever is behind this bombing would have his conscience troubled for doing so.

Yes I too was disturbed by this news. Honestly I am angered by this news. Why would they involve innocent civilians if they have anything against the government or the army? What is worst is that they have to do it near the Cathedral where they can inflict the most damage because it is SUNDAY! Any act of terrorism will never justify the cause you are fighting for regardless how badly you want to be heard. Gandhi was able to do this without resorting to any form of violence! If they want everyone including Christians to take sides with them in their fight then they should stop the kidnapping, the killing and the bombing. Nothing can be achieved by this except cause hatred and fear!

Actually it was really a symbolic bombing they are doing. They planted the bomb not on the Church where they could inflict more casualties but near it where there would be less victims. I am thinking in the lines of rather inflicting fear rather than really making real damage. I am also suspecting of something like they would like to sow hatred or some kind of religious war. It is disturbing and I also would not like this thing to happen to get what they wanted.

This sort of form of protest is somewhat synonymous to what the terrorists in the middle east are doing... they do not think of who will get hurt or how many lives will be lost... since their main concern is to get the attention of the governmnet or who ever it is they want... Sad that some people are blind with what they believe and are fighting for... and if they think they are getting the support and sympathy they crave for... they are so wrong... i hope they will stop...

Well the bomb was placed infront of a Catholic church and exploded the bomb while the masses where ongoing. Sad to know that some people would resort to this kind of thing. Yes you are right they are really cowards hiding behind an ideology they find terrorism as their only way to get what they wanted.

Contrary to what terrorist and their supporters say there is nothing political, religious or military side with all these bombings. This is not just an example on how brazen terrorist defy civil and military authorities but how modern terrorist have become barbaric murderers, devoid of civility and depraved in nature. What goal have they achieved with the latest attack? Did it gave them political and military leverage? Does those mangled bodies justified their cause? or they just hated stalls that sells roasted pigs? The way I see it, it is just a handiwork of sadistic psychopaths, drowned in delusions and gets their kicks from seeing other people suffer. The government should pursue them without let up and accord them the most extreme penalty a just and fair penal system can serve.

They don't care about the people, or how they hate the government,..these are a bunch of cowards who wanted nothing more than to harm and cause terror to civilians. that's all what they can do. if they're such good in bombing people, why can they just bomb and entire military installation or a government office..it would probably do us a favor since it's a corrupt politician they're killing in the process.
