I am surprised by the proliferation of acronyms as current internet lingo. There's LOL for laughing out loud, GTG for got to go, BRB for be right back, and there's even ROFL for rolling on the floor laughing. Such descriptive acronyms. Credit the young for imagination. Can you add one or two more for the education of the old?

I'm in my 30's and I think I'm old too.
I don't know much of the current lingo in SMS and internet.
Glad, I bump into Mylot and this discussion, I was able to understand a few of them.
To add:
TTYL - talk to you later (just learned it just now from another discussion)
OMG- Oh, My God!
You can check this link for other acronyms

Some acronyms have been very popularly used like OMG, LOL and FYI that the Oxford English Dictionary have already included them in their on-line listing.
