Every night i come on mylot thinking that today i'll atleast give a hundred responses.... doesn't matter what the discussion is or is my response useful and healthy.....just come for the sake of money and respond.... But i give a couple of responses and then can't go further....... Has anyone of you being able to do so????

I never set a goal. I just get on here and go with it. Some days I won't find any discussions that I will want to respond to. Other days there are some left and right and I just respond to every one of them. A discussion has to interest me and I also won't just reply with nothing.

I am sure when I first joined I had similar thoughts and never got past posting 3 or 4 repsonses. I know I stopped thinking along these lines when I realised that although I can make some money on myLot it will never be a huge amount, no matter how many discussions I respond to.

I can't do that. I don't even try because I know that you have to give several lines to get paid on responses.

LOL I do that pretty much every day, except a couple of days ago - when I was VERY motivated to be on myLot - and I probably responded to 80 discussions just that night. But it only happens every once in a while. Some days, we just don't feel MOTIVATED enough or there aren't enough interesting/original discussions to respond to. But every now and then, yes.

Harsh- I suppose it is all in how one defines a responding spree. Tonight I am on one because I have been off Mylot for several days and have a mountain of emails that I am working through of threads started by those on my friends list. I feel I owe it to them to go through and read their hard work, and respond to it. Now, I try not to respond just to "respond", but with something that makes sense, and is helpful to their general thread. I do try to write lengthy responses, but sometimes the thread ideas are too short, or it is able to be dealt with in a very short amount of words. For example, I responded to a dear friend's thread on her latest puppy addition. There wasn't much for me to add save my thrilled thoughts and blessings to her family. That's just the way some threads are, short and sweet and packed. Other threads leave me long winded and I find myself writing for a bit of time in order to convey what it is I want to say. Happy mylotting, Namaste-Anora
