Hi, friend. The star tells the person`s mylot reputation. If you just point your cursor over the star, you will see the prson`s reputation in terms of mylot points out of 100. Once the person actively participates in discussions and gains comments from the other members, his/her points and thus mylot reputation increase.
By the time you would have posted a 100 posts with comments on many of them you will also get a star.
Happy mylotting!!

It is our rating that other users give us for our responses to discussions. It goes from a 1-10. Even though you haven't got a star yet, you will get rated either negative or positive. Once you reach 100 posts then you will get your star. All you can do is your best, and not really worry about the star rating, as that isn't the most important thing in here anyway. Now as to it helping your earnings, I can't be positive about that as some say your ratings help and others say they don't. Well, good luck to you and happy mylotting.

The star beside the user name indicates your mylot ratings and reputation. Soon, you will have it too. Just be patient and keep posting here in the discussions and when you reach 100 post or so, it would automatically appear.
Before you reach 100 posts, make sure that you give useful information to the other users so that they would rate you positive, and yep! It can get higher when people rate your comments, response and started discussion positive. And try to answer the discussion the best you can do so the starter would also give you the best response which also helps to get your rating higher!!
Happy myLotting and keep earnng!!
