In my home we have a shih tzu, and 1 cat. Our one cat had kittens and my son was supposed to keep one for his birthday which is coming soon. Sadly to say, something happened and they all past. My kids and my husband were heart broken. A man my husband works with heard what happened and told him he has a germen shepherd if we cared to take into our home. So we went and we saw these GSD. They were so lovable and playful and well, great. We couldn't decide which one we wanted to bring into our home, we also wanted to make sure they get along with our other dog. We were told this lady breeds the germen shepherds, the mom dog is a retired cop dog. We were getting them no charge because she just couldn't sell them. These dogs were skin and bones! Scared to give love or accept it. I didn't want to see the one go back to her so sadly I had to give her to the human society in town. The lady looked at the dog and said it herself, on how unhealthy she was. These dogs are great. The one we kept in our home is always at my feet, and always trying to make me happy. I did not know much about these animals, the lady told me they were 6 months, the guy told my husband they were 3/4 months. I found out yesterday they were about 7/9 weeks. How can people treat these animals like this? If you treat your animals like this how do they treat their family? When our cat had kittens I knew which one was born when.

What ashame. Sadly, some people don't care about their animals or their offspring. That's why you have to do a lot of research before buying any type of animal. You don't want bad breeders making money off of you.

Sadly to say if we did have to pay for them we would not have brought them home. I am happy though the one I gave to the humane society I know is not gonna have to be put to sleep and she will be taken care of, the one we kept is actually doing very well, sadly though I have to wait til next week to take her to the vet, but she is doing great in our home. (For her being as young as she is only 2 accidents in the house in a weeks time. Not bad.)
