I should change my name

And on a less serious note... My name is Dawn. Dawn is the early part of the morning just when it starts to become light. I DON'T do mornings. Seems like the totally wrong name for a morning person, right? So if I was to change my name to something that indicated more that I was an evening person, what would it be? Elvira? Twilight? Any suggestions?

Just be thankful you weren't born in Russia, your name could've ended up "Krakov Dawn" So it's an evening name you're after then? Hmmmmmm, how about "Eventide" It kinda has a certain ring to it I reckon.

I don't know. How about Noddy? Or Moonie? Or Starlight? Or Little Owl?

Luna, or Phoebe, or Selene, which has moon references. Actually, I think Luna and Selene translates to moon and not just an indirect reference. Or maybe Artemis, the goddess of moon. And while we're talking moon, see this link right here. It has the list of moon gods and goddesses: http://ancienthistory.about.com/od/polytheisticreligions/tp/MoonGods.htm Coyolxauhqui would be so hard to pronounce and spell, though. That was fun!

Interesting, thanks for the info! Luna has other connotations though. Maybe they're appropriate. :-)

You can use Dusk and I thought that was so awesome! Or you could always go with Eve. =D

Star.. that's a pretty name! That's what I'd change my name to if I'd been named Dawn. I'm also not a morning person.

Hmm....You could think of Dawn as meaning new beginning too..but if it must be a "night" name..let's see..Luna..Star...Ebony..Serenade..lol..I don't know about that one but it sounds nightish..I like the Star that one of your responders suggested too..

So far I like Star best, but Sleepy is probably closest to the mark!
