The news had a long bit on a cemetery where people we buried for years and now large piles of bones were found hidden. The owners were burying people and then when they ran out of space dug them up and removed them to a pile that was hidden, then resold the burial site. We are genealogist, much of our information comes from burial information, can you imagine how terrible to go to visit your Dad only to find some other party occupying the space? At first you would be sure you were loosing your mind, saying to yourself, I know this was Dad's site, where has it gone. Maybe you've been away for several years, with no visitor's he was ready to be relocated at least the owners felt he wouldn't be missed. Do you think they will be able to identify any of those bones with DNA, can you guess how much that will cost. Next you start to think about where your folks are resting? How safe are they?

What a terrible thing to have happen. Gravesites are supposed to be sacred. I don't even step on them out of respect. I would be "madder than a wet hen" if I found out my loved one had been dug up and dumped somewhere. It's disrespectful, to say the least. Since hearing about this, I am more in favor of cremation (for myself) than ever.

I believe this condition will happened soon or later, since human propagate faster then we can imagine, and many land reform happened. That why, I rather having cremated than buried. Cremated do not need any space to store anymore. BR.b

Jeez! What a crazy mess theses cemetery people created! They should be made to pay for gathering all this bones up so they can be tested for DNA! I would not be surprise alot,if not all this bones carry DNA and could be identified! I don't have to worry about where my mom is buried and where my dad will be! My mom is buried in a smnall town cemetery where I grew up and where my dad will be buried. I feel sorry for the people in this story! They have to do DNA on bones to determine which relatives are them! Yikes!
