it was my husband's voice.. the message said... "Hi Ken, this is J with (company name), you haven't been in to make your payment yet...." At this point I pick up the phone and say "You have the wrong number!!" Ken is obviously one of his customers. He still doesn't catch on and repeats the number he THOUGHT he called. I said "Dummy, you called HOME!!!" "Oh" he says while I was cracking up! Have you ever done something like that?

I have called people while trying to call someone else and have had people do the same thing to me..I have 4 in laws with almost the same digits only one difference like 4190 and 4091 and so on.Confuses the heck out of me at times. When I am expecting one and get another. Maybe he was thinking of home and you so his mind might have been dialing the other numbers but his fingers your number.

Just last week I called the store my hubby USED to work at. They thought I was pretty stupid.. "Uhh, he hasn't worked here in like 6 months!!!" Oh yeah, I knew that, duh!

lol! That is so funny! I actually just did that very same thing Saturday night. Aside from my number, my parents house is the only other number I call that starts out with those 3 numbers. So I went to call my house which I never call. I ended up calling my parents house and leaving the message meant for my sister at my house on their machine! I asked my sister if she got my message and she said no, and my machine didn't have any messages on it. So I called my mom the next day and asked her and she told me that is what i did.

No I haven't. My uncle once called my mom's when I was living with her. Or visiting, I don't remembr. In any case, he called and said "Hey A what's your phone number?" and I'm thinking, 'the one you just called!', undoubtedly I think he had called from the speakerphone at my grandparent's house and didn't watch it dial the number, I don't remember, but I think it does that. Still not sure why he called the number asking for it, but I guess that's what my guess is... lol.
