Not only internet surfing doing same work for a long period of time without necessary break is injurious to health. excessive browsing affect our eyes vision and our mental health also.

If you are just sitting in front of your computer all day and not getting any exercise in by just even getting up and down it can do some damage to your health and you will be paying for in the end because you might not want to look fat. If you are eating in front of your computer then you really need to watch out what you are eating because then your just putting on weight with not doing anything all day. I know that getting on the internet everyday is a routine for most of us trying to earn some extra income everyday, but getting out in the real world and doing some things with family and friends is also important to do too.

Hi there, Firstly welcome to mylot........ well I feel there are many ways of putting this issue up, I feel yes it can be injurious but it can be benign in the beginning, like your eyes keep getting red and your sight becomes weak(if proper care is not taken) Secondly i feel, if we get addicted to internet then it can do really bad things, like you cant concentrate on work, you feel irritated, you are just so engrossed that you don't like to meet people, your work gets effected, so on and so forth.... Also if used for wrong things like watching X rated films and pictures then it can leave you with a mental dent and making you a pervert(most of the time it will)and in children and teenagers it can get even worse........ So somewhere i feel it is upto US as to how we use it, if we use carefully and for good, it will help and if not it will destroy....... Its just like you can use fire to cook food and also negligence would mean lighting up your own house......
