Hello friend, This might seem a very simple question to everyone here but I'm sure most of them interpret it the wrong way. The more popular full form is Any Time Machine but the correct one is Auto Teller Machine. Teller refers to the person who sits at the cash counter of the bank and cashes your cheques.

This is an absurd reply to the rsponse you received because the letters ATM have more than one meaning, as do most acronyms. Automatic Teller Machine is a correct interpretation of ATM, as well as the reply that you gave.

Acronyms often have many different meanings. So without you defining the context this question is impossible to answer. We can make a guess at the context (such as banking or telecommunications protocol). Wikipedia has a page on "ATM" and it lists 8 different meanings in science and technology. As well as 18 other meanings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATM The first poster was not wrong when he posted Automated Teller Machine. This is the most common interpritation of ATM. Nor was the second poster incorrect. Asynchronous Transfer Mode is also a completely valid response. Esp when in a computer context. However in a computer context Alternating Turing Machine would be equally valid.

But only reading ur reply and second answer, I was surprised to hear.I never knew th its it was, Asynchronous Transfer Mode. Thanks for the Information. You proved that you hadn't started worthless discussion by asking a simple question, where hopefully don't knew the right answer.

hi friend its a very simple thing many of us included it in our daily life routine , as it is related to money so "M" goes for " MONEY ", as it helps us for 24 hrs so " T " goes for " TIME " and at last the alphabate " A " goes for the word " ANY ". So the full form of " ATM " is " ANY TIME MONEY ".. so give reply ...
