How Many People Besides Myself Are Shirley Temple Fans?

I never grow tired of watching these precious movies starring that curly-topped moppet--and I also enjoy watching those movies that she made as a teenager. Shirley Temple, in my book, is a very talented actress--and, not only that, but she also has been a great goodwill ambassador during her adult years.

Oh well! We don't have to agree about everything. Just so long as the NON Shirley Temple fans don't try to get her banned, I'm okay with that.

Shirley has led quite a life and is now 77 years young. I'm starting you off here on the biography page of her official website... http://www.shirleytemple.com/aboutShirley.html In so many ways, her life has been amazing all along and still is!

Cool! Do you have any particular favorites, or are they all equally good in your book?

I am! I remember when I was a kid we did not have cable but the neighbors did but only in a small bedroom, so we were invited down there and we were all crammed into chairs at the foot of the bed, in front of the tiny television, watching one right after another in a Shirley Temple Marathon. I only own 2 or 3 of her movies though. I have not watched them in years. I am the only one who likes them in my family and I use my home alone time to be online. I should watch one again soon, thanks for reminding me!

I'm so glad that I've reminded you to bring out the Shirley Temple movies again. That Shirley Temple Marathon with the neighbors sounds as if it were fun.

Glad to see another Shirley Temple fan! I've been computerless since the last part of August, so I'm just catching up. I got to watch several Shirley Temple movies when they were on around Christmas. One of these days, I hope to have ALL of her movies on DVDs!!! Bright Eyes probably was the saddest because of little Shirley not only losing her mother but, also, losing her on Christmas. I loved the way her godfather broke the news to her.
