Which would you pick? I have always been a fan of The big bang theory and how i met yout mother. I personally watch more the big bang theory because it´s more funny for me. Hot I met your mother I have seen only the first season. Are the other seasons good as the first? I like a lot of them, are the best serials ever.

I haven't seen or even heard about the big bang theory but I know that how I met your mother is more awesome just because it has Neil Patrick Harris.

If Big Bang Theory is a program you can get, it usually comes on the same nite as "How I met your MOther", however, it is now on at 9:30 on Monday evenings after "Two and Half Men", you need to watch it...Sheldon is hilarious!!

I love both those shows! But if I had to pick just one then I would pick How I met your mother. The first season was good and it has gotten even better ever since. I think the characters are so funny! Marshall is probably my favorite. They all are good though and I can't wait to see what happens next. I still haven't figured out who their mother is though. I don't want to find out though because then that would mean the end of the show.

I have seen both shows, and I agree with you that The Big Bang Theory is funnier. LOL I love Monday nights. First Two And A Half Men, then The Big Bang Theory after. We originally started watching The Big Bang Theory, because it was right after Two And A Half Men. Now our Monday nights are set. We watch both shows, and spend time together laughing.

I am a big fan of both shows and I cant wait for their next seasons to come up, however, if im gonna pick one while keeping in mind past seasons I would choose HIMYM because seasons 1 & 2 were really entertaining and funny and even if season 4 kinda sucked (save for the naked man episode) i still remember those past seasons and they are really rewatchable (no matter how many times you watch it) comparing it to the seasons 1 & 2 of big bang it's himym. However, if we talk about current times i'd pick big bang (season 2's christmas episode was hilarious with the napkin of leonard nimoy!). All in all both shows are really entertaining and funny (Barney and Sheldon, imagine them in one room hehe)

I enjoy both of the series and watch them both regularly. If I had to pick one over the other I would pick Big bang Theory, just because I find myself laughing out loud so much with that show. They both actually have similar formats though if you think about it. A group of friends that hang out and hilarity ensues. With how I Met Your Mother, the comedy is more around their dating relationships, whereas with BBT it's comes more from their personalities. I will be watching both in the Fall.

Big Bang Theory is the best...Shelden makes me laugh hysterically. I don't care for "how i met your mother", because I am not too found of the star of the show - Neal Patrick Harris (I think).

Big Bang Theory in the long shot. I watched the first 10 episodes of How I met your Mother and I just couldn't get into it. I don't think it's that funny or at least it wasn't. I starting watch Big Bang last year when my friend introduced me to the show. I hope it goes on for many seasons to come.
