Humming Birds

Today is the day! The babies are old enough to come to the feeder, I wait all Summer for this, It's a mad dash, with lots of noise and many Zoom, Zoom as they fly by your head, don't move to fast you wouldn't want one of those beaks in your ear. The older males are in full color and they are on their second brood, that just means more birds in about 5 weeks. Happy Summer, thanks Mother Nature.

It sounds like you have a regular summer routine here. It brings back memories of visiting my grandmother, and sitting on her porch watching the hummers feed on the colorful flowers she always had in her yard. Those were good memories.

My hubby and I love hummingbirds. We put the liquid mix out for them every year, and they're always feeding from it. Sometimes after they drink they buzz up to our window to look in (or maybe to see their own reflection, lol). They are precious little things...

My daughter has always put the feeders out. She gets very excited when they start to show up. She has feed out for all the birds but she loves the Humming birds the most.

your place is just great my friend really wanted to live where you can see nature at its best everyday wake up each day like that ans see new things and lots of boundless thing you can do in a ranch I do wish I could own a ranch one of this days.
