So, if you going to apply for a job, on the application, it might ask you what wage do you most desire to accept, what would you fill it out? I mean, in your honest opinion, how much do you think that you are worth with that job? What is your lowest standard, whihc also mean the minimum wage you are going to accept? $9.00 per hour? $12 per hour? or more.......? If you are applying for a doctor, or lawyer type of job, that will be totally different perspective from what I am posting here. I meant the general job.

We are paid base on monthly basis here. You only be paid base on your working hours if you do a part time job. Basically I would put RM1800 as my expected salary in my resume. But I prepared to have less then that with our current economy situation. The competition to get a job also become tougher and we need to sacrifice something to get it. Normally the part time job in the fast food restaurant here offer RM3-RM5 per hours here.

It would all depend really if you are able to work legally without anyone knowing that you may not have the right papers. When a person is still illegal and working in a country then it is not easy to get good pay. I know of someone who has to clean houses for four dollars an hour just because she should not be in the country. I think this is wrong because she clean the house of people with much money.

Hello I am from India. Here a job is not valued on per hour basis but per month basis. Our people put a contact of certain time. This contract may be for months and years.Only labor jobs carry per day wages. A doctor who works in a reputed hospital gets anywhere between 2 to 3 lakhs/- per month.A reputed lawyer earns on case basis.I am an IT professional. The minimum salary for me is 20 grand per month.

I am a computer technician here in Canada, I am getting $14 per hour, I started at $12 per hour last year, probably I will not accept a job lesser than $12 per hour.
