European union forms, CIA says EU is United States biggest threat and now this?? LISTEN TO FIRST LINK--It will make your blood curdle.... -------------------------------------------------------------------- REMARKS BY THE PRESIDENT TO THE GHANAIAN PARLIAMENT Accra International Conference Center Accra, Ghana In Obama's address to Ghana he states (White house Press Secretary): 1. I'm speaking to you at the end of a long trip. I began in Russia for a summit between two great powers. I traveled to Italy for a meeting of the world's leading economies. And I've come here to Ghana for a simple reason: The 21st century will be shaped by what happens not just in Rome or Moscow or Washington, but by what happens in Accra, as well. (Applause.) 2. This is the simple truth of a time when the boundaries between people are overwhelmed by our connections. Your prosperity can expand America's prosperity. Your health and security can contribute to the world's health and security. And the strength of your democracy can help advance human rights for people everywhere. 3. Now, we know that's also not the whole story. Here in Ghana, you show us a face of Africa that is too often overlooked by a world that sees only tragedy or a need for charity. 4. So I do not see the countries and peoples of Africa as a world apart; I see Africa as a fundamental part of our interconnected world -- (applause) -- as partners with America on behalf of the future we want for all of our children. 5. This is a new moment of great promise. Only this time, we've learned that it will not be giants like Nkrumah and Kenyatta who will determine Africa's future. Instead, it will be you -- the men and women in Ghana's parliament -- (applause) -- the people you represent. It will be the young people brimming with talent and energy and hope who can claim the future that so many in previous generations never realized. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I went to a website about KWAME NKRUMAH where I'm told --the 1960s was the decade of African Independence --The decade of Promise, Ghana became independent in 1957, then followed the very first conference of Independent African States known as "Freedom Fighters" Here is his address [Accru, Ghana Dec. 1958]: I appeal to you in the sacred name of Mother Africa, to leave this conference resolved to rededicate yourselves to the task of forming among the political parties in your respective countries, a broad united front based upon one common aim and object: The speedy liberation of your territories. This decade is the decade of African Independence. Forward then to independence to independence NOW! Tomorow, the UNITED STATES OF AFRICA!

Wow. That's...ah....wow. I can only say that Africa has to decide that for itself, its the leaders that they gotta be careful of. From what I know, African leaders haven't always been truthful. But, that's the same no matter what government you have. Do they want to join us? or...is that just a play on words? Wouldn't it be funny, in stead of fifty-one states we'd have another entire continent and then there would be so much MORE history to learn as part of our American heritage. *lol*

Does Obama really lump all the people of Africa together? How racist!
