To Cure yourself, what do you prefer- Eating Food or Medicines.

Hello Mylot frineds this is checkmail and have started the discussion over getting cured and healthy.Well mostly in today's world, peoples opt out for medicines rather than going for traditional food suppliment treatment.Our illness or low health can be cured and improved by either having medicines or by having the food with specific advantages to our body.I prefer less of medicines, as I am also alergic to some of the Allopathy medicines, I use aryurveda in serious problems else depends on food suppliments.The food which we eat have many natural qualities which improves our health and boosts our immune system.So basically an properly and regular intake of food keeps our health strong enough to resist diseases and other illness.Medicines can be used in times when there is no option available as regarding time factor(Emergency).But according to my experience more and more peoples are depending on medicines rather than daily intake of food suppliments. so I think first we must rely on food suppliments for our strong health and can use medicines at some troublesome position(emergency). i try to use natural remedies whenever possible and i would say i do 85-90% of the time. sometimes there is just not a choice in the matter. for instance sometimes i get really bad headaches and i have not found anything natural to get rid of the pain so i have to take ibuprofen or aleve to get rid of it. also if i have an infection like a bladder infection or ear infection then i have to resort to an antibiotic but i make sure to eat yogurt and take acidophilus the whole time i am on the antibiotics. i think there are too many side effects in all medicines so i try to steer clearn when and if i can.

Hello mikeymom this is checkmail and thanks for sharing your experience in the response.Yes we cannot always depends on natural remedies for healing in short time span.But in return we do have to face the side effects of the medicine taken to cure our illness.But according to doctors if we take enough food suppliment diet, there will be no side effect or less of it.It depends upont he power used in manufacturing the medicines.If the power of the medicine is high, heavy supplement diet is recommended.So keep up with the home remedies as possible.But do take care in case of serious illness and get examine by the doctor. Its the immune system which is responsible for our health and illness and it remains good when it gets the necessary supplement from foods, think that medicines are a secondary protocol.keep up with natural food suppliment diet regularly. actually i am quite heathy now ,so i don't need to take any madicine,but one thing that always concerned me is sleeplessness,i just wonder is there any food that can increase my quality of my sleep,as we all know ,taking sleeping pills will definately do harm to our heath,my opinion is not to take any madicine until you really need it ,after all there is some side effect on it

Hello justiceliu this is checkmail and have received your response and thanks for sharing in your problem with us.Actually sleepness is due to over anxiousness.It is also due to intake of some food suppliments like caffine in coffee, tea, etc.Too much rest is also a reason for sleeplessness, try to do some exercises and workouts.And also if want to sleep through food diet eat more of rice and in fruits more of pomegranate, it helps in getting sleep.Also you can try to sleep in postion simply relax keeps hands and legs straight in sleeping position, in few minutes you will be asleep.Also try head down exercise, to increase the flow of blood to our head.Yes and you are right you can't take the risk of taking sleeping pills as it affects our memory and even overdosage could lead to coma.etter stay with natural food supliments. For me,i would love to use the natural way like eating nutritious foods. Though sometimes herbs can be very disgusting that swallowing a pill will be my last choice so it really depends on the taste of what i'm going to eat.Ü

Hello loalapenguin this is checkmail and now know you also like a natural nutrious foods in your diet.Its very good to know as most of peoples in these run-a-day life find it useless to have natural diet.They opt for all mordern snacks which do loose its food suppliment properties while preparing it.And about having herbs, well now its even more easy as you find it disgusting there are some ayurvedic medics which converts all the herb contents and properties in a form of a naturally made pills.You can try that stuff, but under doctors advise.Its also good to know that you are planning life in a more systematic way e3specially keeping medicines as last option.But do take care in case of not recovering from food diet, get examine by the doctors imediately.Take care. Food is prevention and medicine is cure...and medicine is cure...if you take proper food, and stay healthy you will not need medicines but if after taking precautions, still your health gets affected, then you should take medications immediately, coz neglecting it will result in serious illness....about me...i do regular exercises and take proper food, so that my health is not affected, but if at all i fell ill then i go to the doctor immediately. I try to avoid medicines as much as possible.

Both of these are very co-related, if you make any sort of changes in your food stuffs from the daily routine , then you have to take medicine, so i must say that both of them are alternative EATING GOOD & HEALTHY FOOD or HAVING MEDICINES. So I think its better to support EATING GOOD 7 HEALTHY FOOD to save extra expenses for medicines. There is a famous regarding this topic " PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE ". I always keep this in my mind , what about you?

Hello rosyevening this is checkmail and thanks for sharing in your views and experience over the Food suppliment diet.Actually this regular and proper intake of natural foods make sure that our immune system is boosted well.So it helps our health tofight against the various illness arising due to many things.Well basically I do depend on my food diet dor the most of the time,According to me eating food daily propely gives me enough energy to fight back the small illness.I mostly don't hate medicines but just try be far away from it.The medicines which I mostly use when I am really very sick is Homepathy, Ayurvedic medicines, which mostly doesn't have any side effect just the diet must be good to help it.This major illness causes because of negligence over our diet because of our day-to-day fast life going on.Mostly the word I can get is food-deficiency is the main rot cause for causing illness.So I try to be more a foodie kind of stuff rather than medic.Once again thanks for your views and sharing experience. As much as possible, if I can still manage not to take medicine I will. For instance for a simple sore throat I try to used ginger juice or I gargled a warm water with salt, in that way it relieves the pain and prevents the side effects of taking medicine.

Hello sybil02 this is checkmail and appreciate that you use use home remedies to cure yourself which includes food suppliments.Actaully its preferable to have an natural food suppliment diet instead of medicines is such low illness.It will be useless to have medicines when hardly you are feeling ill.But must be careful of illness increases and should not wait for more time and contact the doctor at once.As it may be some infectious disease.So better stay careful with our health.Yes the Home remedies are a sure shot way t cure of low health.Also thanks for sharing your experiences with us. As much as possible I try to avoid taking in medicines when I am sick. but when my tolerance canot handle it anymore.I also try to avoid going to the hospital when I am sick.Hospitals give me the creeps so as much as possible self-healing and staying at home is the thing I do. I also take a lot of fruits and vegetable when I am sick.I love eating fruits so I just pump up more vitamin C when I'm sick.

Hello Joiemarvic this is checkmail and don't you ever try to get too careless about your health.You must visit an doctor if you are feeling sick, and stop wasting more time on our natural remdies as it takes long time to heal sometimes.Actually our natural food suppliments diet heals us after days of regular and quality intake of food, so can keep all normal illness away from us as well as cure some small illness.But medicines are used in order to recover on an emergency basis, as time left for recovering is much less.Better try to be regular food suppliment consumer so that the immune system is boosted properly, than there will be no need of visiting doctor or carrying illness for a long time. Food is probably the best way to go as medicine most of the time shouldnt be used to frequently since your body might become dependent on it and wont be able to fight off future illness. Unless my body is in extreme pain or I have a high fever then I might take an asparine to help with the pain/fever. That is probably the only time I would take medicine. Other than that I like to keep things natural unlike medicine they do not contain side effects that could lead to sever problems later in life.

I do not like to take medicines at all so if I can help myself by eating certain foods then I am all for it. In fact, right now, I am trying to give up sugar as much as I can to try to help me get my energy built back up. I will try that and other alternative things before I'll take medicines. Medicines have so many side effects taht the medicine sometimes causes more harm than good. Great discussion.

Hello mamacathie this is checkmail and its really hard to depend on medicines this days, as they are expensive as well as having side-effects.You had mention about getting low on sugar in order to get your energy back, you must try jaggery instead of sugar.Its a preform of sugar before it is been processed to miny sugar cubes.It helps our health in various ways, as you can even taste sweet as well as control its effects.And yes the medicines are to be taken under doctor advise that too after a well balnced diet of natural suppliments.So eating out the natural food suppliments is the best way known for leeping our immune system stronger, and also to recover from any illness.It just reduces the side effects of the medicines too. I'm a man with weight over 100 Kg, and I will never rely on those medicines if I were ever want to reduce my weight(it's not disease , yes I know ... but still :D) , I usually do some sport and control my food, it's the most effective and it have permanent effect in your body, it will increase your health and it will stay the same if u keep it up. on side note I have lose over 5 kg in this week. (yay)

And also congradulations on losing 5 kg of overweight in this week.It must have taken a lot of sweats of you.Well its basically right about you, don't use any medicines for weight loss purpose.Make it the natural way that you know.Also I will like to recommend something for weight loss apart from exercises and sports.Have you ever tried the Green tea, it has the property to reduce excess and unwanted body weight.Though don't let it come in the way of your regular well balanced diet.So natural diets pave the way for your healthy lliving.I am so glad to share my views with person such as you. Hi checkmail.. Well most of the times.. when i am ill.. then i always try to not to take these medicine.. always wait for 2-3 days.. eather then going directly to doctor.. till any serious problem or injuries i never take any medicine and never go to any doctor.. and most of the times.. i cured automaticaly in few days.. then back to normal condition.. Sometimes contidition becaome worse.. then i have to do to doctor for medicine..

Hello cool_bollywood this is checkmail and am getting worried because of your response.Don't take it lightly when you are not feeling well, even major illness shows up an small symptom before getting worse.Acording to you, you are cured automatically that is the food suppliments effect on your body.But you may even try a perfect directed food suppliment for getting curred.As many food diets contains various suppliments which are helpful in avaoiding many problems.And if you get illnes even after having a complete food suppliment diet than you must not delay in examine by the doctors.Better take care of your self, or later you will have to miss MyLOT and friends because of your silly illness.You know you got to have rest in illness afeter medication.But stick to a regular balanced food diet, which will keep you healthy. I think we should all try and eat well, or according to a certain diet, if we can. Especially if it can improve our health in general, or any health conditions. Where diet isn't enough, medicine can be a life saver, though. As far as natural suppliments go, most don't know enough about them for them to be totally safe. For example, if you're taking a cinnamon suppliment while you're pregnant, that can be dangerous for the baby. No one would've guessed that one. Natural remedies could be great alongside medicine, but one should be checking with a doctor who has knowledge in this first, so as to not cause more serious problems than they're helping.

Hello votenoonpinapple this is checkmail and somewhat agree with your resonse.According to me a well balanced food suppliment diet is essential for Healthy living as well as medicines when there is no time to wait for food suppliments to take effect on our health.Yes we can better go to checkup at least twice in a year, but I think there are also home methods used for normal check ups. The knowledge of food suppliments is also essential for eveyone as you said about what should be avoided durig certain circumstances.Well simple rule eat healthy stay healthy.Also don't forget the Apple fury. As bad as I hate it I have to take some medications because of my illnesses,but I also eat healthy foods as I feel my body benefits from the nutrients in the foods.I perfer to eat healthy over taking medications as over time the medication breaks the immune system down I feel healthier when I eat smart.Have a great day.

Hello funnysis this is checkmail and am really feeling very sorry for your position.But as you also know that when you eat smart you feel much more better, so try to weight on food suppliments more.Actaully the medication donesn't break the immune system, but it has other side effects which make you fell like it.Even Medicines if taken with ample required food diet, they cause you no harm i.e. side-effects.For example suppose your arm is paining and you try to get relif from it by pressing it, but while pressing it also turn sore red.That what is called side effect.But as per your view, you think eating smarts suits you so try to be much more on it, and try to reduce the need for medicines as our body can't take on many side effects.There are various restriction while taking medicines which are to be followed.If neglected may face serious problems.In food diet each element is of some healing properties. I like to use foods and change my diet; when ever I can. I have cured my high cholesterol and my diabetes this way. I am healthy as a horse now. I only use medications when I really need them.

Of course I still prefer to cure myself by eating food. As medicines are still medicines and somewhat it will have a negative result for your health. If it is not necessary, I don't want to take the medicines, especially it's little healthy problems. But sometimes the healthy diet can't give you a perfect health. So at this moment you need to take some medicines. There is no a better choice. I love China

Hello youless this is checkmail and would like to tell you that medicines are also derived out of some substance source which are similar to the properties of the food, just effects more quicker than it.Are you getting me, the materials used to produce medicines are also in somewhat related to the food properties.So Prevention is better than cure is one of the golden sayings.You can't deny that, don't be negative try to be positive.Havong a well planned perfect baanced diet with the suppliment knowledge can keep your health more stronger than anything else.And if you love china then you might be knowing the history of it.There were peoples who had living with much less food suppliments than we are now, though there were some food suppliments that aren't available today which used to make some strong effects.So According to it is better to have a better diet in order to avoid any serious illness, and if unavaoided than may get examine by the doctor. And don't you forget I am not totally against medication, in terms of saving an life.But useless use of medicines for small illness which are bound to be cured with simple diet improvement is not the option. hi checkmale as a diabetic I must rely on diabetic medications to lower my blood glucose, and on good food, and proper amounts of good nutritious foods to help control my blood glucose, also exercise plays a big part of it. I am not too fond of a lot of food supplements as they are not checked by the people who check our medications, and some doses can make you sick, not well. i myself here in the Us depend on eating good food and on my doctors advice as a lot of herbal things are not checked for being pure and you take a lot of chances that way. good food, and a good doctor, and exercise.

I will do both of them. While medicines can cure you faster, eating food and good rest are also the keys to gain your health faster. But in my experience, I rarely eat the medicines when I got a sickness. I don't like to eat medicines. I eat medicines only for the sickness that I can't hold on anymore. To keep your body healthy, the important things are exercise and balance diet.
