Do you ever fall dawn stairs? when? why?

When I used to live with my parents as a teenager, my bedroom was in the basement, and it was finished but the rest of the basement really wasn't. It was light and clean and all that, but it still had a cement floor and the stairs were kind of rickety, and wood, and the kind with the open backs of each stair. Sometimes, when I was running down them (hard and careless, the way teenagers always run down stairs) they would shake a little bit, just enough that my foot would miss a step. I ended up falling down the last three or four steps pretty often. I never really hurt myself though.

It happened last week, me and my boyfriend fell down the stairs together and hand in hand (haha), luckily we didn't stumbled down like you always see in the movie. We were going down a stairs of one nightclub, the stairs was wet and I was just wearing my worn-out sandals when I suddenly slipped. We were holding hands so he tried to grab me but ended up losing his own balance. We landed on our butts! Fortunately there was nobody around to see our embarrasing moment and we just laughed and got up and went out from there...

When I was a child, we live in an old house with narrow and steep stairs. I remember falling a couple of times, but not much bad consequence. It is said falls from the last few steps are most liably to cause serious injuries. Mind your steps to avoid any falls. For the contractors, they must make sure that all steps at exactly the same height. That is the guarantee for safe use of stairs.

in the college where i used to work as a guidance counselor and as a part-time teacher is where i fell. funny though that 3 steps of that short stairs and i got a sprain that lasted for more than 2 weeks. funny marks appeared on my foot and it was eerie since it became the shape of a woman with a stick. it wasn't dried blood. more of like it was a birthmark. somebody who can interpret this said something chilling. i followed a recommended ritual to quiet that spirit and i was met with a power failure that night. it was really eerie since it just happened in our house. anyway, enough with the eerie stuff. there is one plain, common sense reason why i fell on such short flight of stairs. it was waxed. duh? whoever waxes stairs anyway? some even put rubber at the edge of every step .

i was not careful. thats the reason. i was holding a flat iron which i took from upstairs and then i went down in a hurry and since the stairs was newly scrubbed, i slipped. someone wanted to pick me up, i think that was my brother, but my mom said no. she waited for me to be able to move because she was afraid that i had a fracture but luckily i only had this pain in the butt when i scraped my backside on the edge of the stair steps. the flat iron greatly helped because it cushioned my fall while i went falling. what i did? i cried. it was painful you know. but that was long time ago. i was 15 years old then.

If there isn't a good strong railing, and I don't know that the steps are there, i might fall. I had this problem a lot when i was little, but as I grew up I got better at figuring out where the steps are. Now my husband is going blind, and i am helping him figure out how to find steps that he might not always be able to see, without falling down them.

It is Always Nice If you can help somebody Get Down Or Climb the stairs. It Would Be Unfair To Laugh at AnyOne Falling Down, As The Next time It Could Be You..... Thank You ....

It was years ago when I fell down the stairs. We, my brother, sister and I was playing in the house and I was on the stairs. That was stupid but I couldn't care less at that time. Plus, my parents wasn't around. My brother and sister was playing tag downstairs and I decided to join them. Well, I move too fast and come tumbling down. I wasn't hurt and my siblings were laughing like crazy. I didn't tell my parents though, they might kill me. That was the last time I play on the stairs.

I fell downstairs once before when i got back from 365km cycle with my friends. I wasn't prepared for such and ordeal it just got totally bad when i got home. It is just that i wasn't able to control my steps. I got eight stitches on the chin.

i love joe jonas! this questions reminds me of him cause he's always falling! sometimes down steps. anyway i fall down stairs alot. and i so hate it, and it hurts i even have a dent in the wall because of it. and i fall in the morning cause i'm just too sleppy to balance. and i seen my mom fall down the steps i laughed then felt bad cause she was really hurt. and then i helped.
