Dogs that get on well with children

Mmm yeah, they get along with children, but they haven't really seen that many infants, because we don't have that many in our Family.

My dogs, 2 Bouviers are the greatest with kids. Sometimes they get excited around them when they are crying, because they don't know what to do. They are really big, so when with smaller grandkids the kids get knocked around a bit because of size. All in all everything turns out for the best. The children on our street play with them and luv them. When are your dogs coming out to play..

My cocker spaniel use to be great with kids but one day he turned on my son. Please be very careful you might think your dogs are good with kids but if they feel threatened in anyway or they just don't want to be bothered they will turn. They are animals and they know no other way to defend themselves but to bite. a friend of mine had a dog for years and it was wonderful with her kids but one day he bite her 2 year old in the face. The baby ended up with 60 stitches in her little face. They ended up getting rid of the family dog.

When my daughter was small, my Rottweiler tolerated from it all, and nobody could not approach to my daughter on street.

Both my lab and my coonhound get on very well with the kids. The lab especially is just wonderful with them, In fact it is a rare sight to see her with out one of the kids lying around with her or even on top of her. Our hound is a good boy too, but he is young still and a little too jump in your face.

Hi maximax8 i think that the dogs who most get along with children are the pudels.I think so cuz i have one.

Hello max, I don't have any pets now, but did have a big Great Dane/Dalmatien cross. He would let children do anything to him, even ride. He was xo gentle, and loved children.
