Amy Winehouse 'round Midnight song is classy

She might become a legend in her own right with a voice like that.Very jazzy, classy ,and sassy tune. She has a very jazzy feel with this song. The horns are perfect, steady percussion, and her vocals know just how to adjust at various points of the song.

Some people say I am crazy that I am comparing her to such a legend but she sounds like Janis Joplin to me .Her vocals has that old Texa blues type of touch in it which really suits her songs.I like her song Rehab more than 'Round Midnight it is really jazzy .Anyways she looks horrible with that beehive hairstyle.

One of my favorite songs by her. If you ever get a chance, listen to her inspiration for that song. Thelonious Monk - Round About Midnight | youtube or however you choose to listen to it. Her voice is something straight out of Motown, but she still pays homage in her music to lots of Jazz Legends, even if its indirectly. I gotta find some more Amy to put on my iPod!
