First, you need to see your doctor. Severe headaches can be a sign of something much more serious. I have a few articles on ehow.com that deal with headaches. I, personally, suffer migraines and have for years. I had to get a prescription medication for them years ago. I've since learned some more natural ways of combating them. Sorry, but mylot won't allow me to paste the link in here. If you type in 'Janet Ford headache' on ehow.com, you'll find them. Maybe you should also make an appointment with a chiropractor. They can do wonders for headaches.

what is your type of headache ,where is the site is it back of the head or front side or both.depending upon the site ,we can tell you the treatment.but mainly headache is due to psychological stress, depression,or waking up for long time.if you are in stress,be cool and dont think about such things which are the cause of your headache.try this ,even then if you dont tell me?

Massaging your own neck is often one of the swiftest cures, as is resting your neck if it’s usually under stress. Try rolling your head forward slowly, over to one side, then the other. Though rolling your head back can be bad for your neck and throat, it sometimes helps to relax the muscles in the back of your neck. Repeat these stretching exercises a few times, allowing your muscles to relax completely before turning your head again. Drinking plenty of water is also a good way to go at curing headaches, as muscles and ligaments will contract if they’re dehydrated.

I suggest that you see a specialist immediately because usually severe headaches without history of trauma can have very serious underlying conditions.
