does the question sound familiar? yes of course! at one point of our lives we were asked that question. at school our teachers would ask us to come up front and tell the whole class what you want to be when you grow up. sometimes it would our parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents, or neighbors. no matter who asked us, we always have a quick answer and told them with a smile. when i was a kid i wanted to be a lawyer. now that i'm already 27 years old, i don't think that will ever happen. that dream simply faded into oblivion and i think it will never become a reality. i am now a nurse and i'm very happy with my choosen profession. i am contented with what i have become. what about you? did you follow those dreams? are you now living the life you've always wanted. ARE YOU NOW THE PERSON THAT YOU WANTED TO BE, WHEN YOU WERE LITTLE?

Well, same here my friend. I wanted to be a lawyer when I was young. I think it was due to the influence of my Godfather who is very close to me. But during my college days, I joined a group, actually its a rescue group in our city. I got hooked up so and so that when I graduated in my accounting course, I applied and became a regular paramedic. Well, I did not regret my decision. Now I am working as a tactical medic of our city's SWAT unit and at the same time have opened up a training center for Emergency Care courses such as First aid, CPR and AED. I think you are familiar with this considering that you are a healthcare provider. I am starting out with ACLS programs. The great thing is I have accreditation from the United States so and so that the cards that I issue are accepted internationally. So I am really enjoying myself as well as my work. Well, I may not become a lawyer, but I do love my work and what I have become. I think we are in the same course of life.. saving lives...

When I was little, every time I see someone who do a great thing, I will think that I want to be like him/her. When I grew up a little, I was thinking that I want to be an engineer. It looks great especially robotic engineer. But right now, that's just a dream. I become a different person. From a dream to be an engineer now, I try to make future engineers by becoming a teacher. How about you?

I told the class in kindergarten that I want to be an engineer... At least I went on to become one. The sad part is that my preference changed before I entered college and I was wanting to be a doctor instead by then. But due to some scholarship grants, O was forced to start engineering. Since then, I have completed my years in college and is now a licensed engineer.

A line of song goes like "When I was just a little girl I ask my mother what will be?" Same question I ask my other and she always reply back in return to think of what i love. Even before going to school, I always tell my mom that I want to be a nurse because we have a neighbor who I always see dress up in white and looks so fulfilled with what she's doing. That never changed after grade school, high school and finally I ended up taking that course in college. I graduated with that degree with awards. And the I took the Nurse Licensure Examination here in our country and passed it. Now I am a Registered Nurse. I'm happy to reminisce those times where in I keep telling my mom that I'll be like our neighbor nurse.. And I'm so proud I'm a nurse now.

Hey, Well when I was younger, I don't really know what I wanted to be when I was younger, it is sort of weird. But all I remember is that I always used to pray to have huge muscles when I was younger. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

When I was little, I wanted to be a librarian or a school teacher. Well, I'm not either but I was a teacher's aide and I did work in the school library at times. Good discussion.

This is interesting. When we are kids, actually we don't really know what we want to be. Most of the kids said they wanted to be a scientist when I was little, and I once said I wanted to be a lawer or doctor, but I really doubt that was my real thinking.Beacause we were too young then, we said it just because we thought it was a good word too say. Actually, I didn't really consider what I wanted to be in the future until I was in the middle school. Good discussion, have a nice day.

i used to dream of becoming an aeronautic engineer because i love to watch planes and i often wonder how such planes will go up in the air for a long time without coming down with the effect of gravitational forces, so i often dreamt of making a plane as well but all those things are falacies

When I was little, I wanted to grow up to be a vet. Later I wanted to write novels as an adult. I still love animals, and I still like to write, but I'm neither a vet, nor am I a published author. Nope, I'm not the person I wanted to be when I grew up.

I always wanted to be a doctor. God has answered my dreams but now i realized i am not that happy and so i did not practice my profession. I learned the hardships I had to bear to fulfill my dreams also taught me to become a better person. I am just not cut out for that kind of life though as my heart is not strong enough though my body and mind r wiling. I decided i can help others in another way.

Many like me, I wanted to be a police-officer when I was studying primary school. But I think that is not what I want to be. After that, I was working in a firm of solicitor. During that time, I have think about maybe I can be a lawyer or other related professional job. Afterwards, I worked in a secondary school as an I.T. teaching assistance, and would like to be a I.T. professional. Finally, I am studying website development in Australia as an oversea student. People have particular aim at different situation. I will never forget I want to be a singer. But I better know, it is a dream.
