I Had Quite The Scare!

Just a minute ago, I opened up my browser and entered the URL to go to MyLot. I was taken to a mostly blank screen with some blue font. My immediate thought was, "Oh no! MyLot has been shut down!" I was very upset by this! But then I noticed that the top of the screen said Myot.com. I was instantly relieved! I'd just made a typo and forgotten the L in MyLot! Have you ever made this same mistake? Did you worry that MyLot had been shut down?

I have not had this happen, at least not with mylot. I have heard many times lately that mylot is not shutting down so I wouldn't have thought this. I have often gone to a wrong page because of putting .net instead of .com or some such thing, but not like you just described. Actually, all I have to enter is myl and the rest of it is already there. That way, I don't enter it wrong. Have a great day!!!

Oh, I do that all the time!!! There are two online databases I regularly have to enter in information on. One is for work, and the other is for the place where I volunteer. The work database ends in .com and the volunteer database ends in .org. But almost every time I have to visit the work database, I put ".org" at the end of it! It takes me to a "this page does not exist" page!

Hi trickiwoo! No, i can't say that i have had this happen to me with mylot, but i have had this happen to me with others sites that i frequent. It gets frustrating sometimes when this happens, especially when i have been going to the same sites and then to enter it in wrong.
