Oh yeah, I tend to do that a lot. Reading is very relaxing and using a lot of mental energy, and on top of using my eyes, which makes my eyes tired, so I want to close them for a bit just to rest them. And what happens is I just feel relaxed and with my eyes closed, I fall asleep.

Yes, when I read a book at night, it's easy for me to fall asleep. It's a good habit to take up because it relaxes my mind and I think that's the reason why I fall asleep.

Yes, I do that a lot of times, but most of the times I fell asleep not because I wanted to, but because the books induces me to sleep. Not all books have this effect on me too. Some would make me wake up until after the wee hours of the night, because I just can't stop reading them until after I finish the whole book. The books that could put me to sleep are more likely my reference books, study and research books that I consider very boring to read. I just can't help sleeping on them. (**,)

I read before i go to sleep, i feel it lets my imagination wonder before it plays an over night movie. I do not know, it is just the way i am. I think it is good to read before bed, maybe it can help you control your dreams some nights. It also could help you go to sleep. I sometimes need to put the book away and just fall asleep or i know i will be up most of the night trying to get through more chapters, ha ha. But, yes, i love reading before i sleep.

Really? For me, reading make me become more difficult to sleep, as maybe I like reading so if I want to sleep early, i will drink a hot chocolate with a biscuit and within an hour, I will sleep, so that's why I tend to avoid chocolate drink as much as possible only when I know that I want to sleep but cannot sleep then I will drink it.

Reading pages after pages of books makes my eyes tired so I just close my eyes and I fall asleep. Listening to music also helps me fall asleep.

Not a book but music and tv helps me fall asleep quick. My eyes start hurting after a few pages on a book. I read through out the day. At night before i go to sleep i'll either listen to music or throw in a movie even a movie i've already watched helps me go to sleep quick.

I tend to fall asleep when I'm reading sometimes. It doesn't happen very often but it does happen sometimes. I used to read more before bed and I noticed that it helped me wind down before I went to bed. I don't do it much anymore because I'm always doing homework before bed. Sometimes my homework makes me sleepy.
