Dogs or kids, which drives you crazier?

Okay my dogs recently have been more of a pain than my children. My kids are little too. 14months and 3 years old. The last week or so though my dogs have been the ones waking me up and needing to be cleaned up after and such. They are driving me nuts! Is it possible that my pets are more of a pain than my children?

All I can say is dogs are forever children and children grow up, that the Lord for that. Dogs never become teenagers and will always love you unconditionally. There is much to be said for dogs.

Believe me I know the feeling and I can't say it will get much better. Just rant a bit here on mylot and we'll try to give you a laugh or two. Just remember mess is in the eye of the beholder, your mess could be another, lived in look.

haha... i don't have nether kids nor dogs, but my cats do require a huge amount of attention. they want me to spend all the time laying next to them hugging and petting them... when i go somewhere for a few hours they pretend to want to run away to show how unhappy they are about me leaving them for too long... they also get upset if i don't try to stop them from running away lol

If you ask me, they're both major pains. I can't decide who's a bigger pain, though... dogs or kids? I can't stand either one and I absolutely NEVER want dogs OR kids. They both drive me insane and I don't have the patience for either. I have two cats, though. They're great, but even they can drive me crazy sometimes.

I am not home a lot. I actually got the second dog to try to keep the first dog company. We had roommates with dogs and they moved out so she was left alone and she was being very rebellious. Now its like they are kids fighting over moms attention. It really is funny when I sit back and think of it.

hmmm I dont have kids yet but I guess there are a lot of responsibilities in racing a kid than a dog well they dont give me that much of a problem so I am guessing that it is kids which will drive me crazy

I was just questioning the same thing at my house. Of course being summer, the kids are "bored" all day long. I think even the dog is bored. She is an outside dog and she keeps knocking over her water bowl just to get attention. She normally never does this and it has been driving me crazy caz she sits and whines until you refill her bowl (over and over again).

Fun stuff huh? It is like a competition between the dogs and the kids. I think in your situation I would make the bored kids re water the bored dog. LOL

Kids and dogs both drive Hubby and I nuts, and that's why we have neither! LOl We have a cat, and he is crazy enough, but not nearly as crazy as a pack of kids, or a bunch of dogs. LOL
