Smile

I was going through videos the other day and found the song smile that was originally written by Charlie Chaplin. I was listening to the version that Michael Jackson sang. It is now my favorite song. It is hard to find a song that makes you want to be happy and cry at the same time. Do you have a song that makes you feel like this? Are you familiar with the song I am talking about? It is beautiful.

Yes I know this song and it is a beautiful song. The lyrics are so special. Many songs make me feel happy and sad at the same time.It could be the melody or the lyrics that do it for me.Call me a softy. 2 such songs are "Fear" and "Angel" by Sarah Mclachlan."Fear" always gives me the goosebumps.

I am not a Michael Jackson song, and I didn't even know he recorded this, but I do know the version by Nat King Cole, another by his daughter Natalie, and all kinds of other old ones. I love that song. As for happy and sad at the same time, Michael Buble's newest album was one of the options for in-flight entertainment when I would fly Air Canada back and forth between Canada and Arizona. I flew from Toronto to Phoenix and back so many times, that I got to really like that album. Because of work, my hsuband and I were apart for a while (I was in Guelph here in Canada, and he was in Sedona Arizona in the USA), so when I'd hear songs on those albums and we were apart, I'd wish I was in Arizona. I loved the songs, but they'd make me miss my husband. However one of those songs, Michael Buble's EVERYTHING would play at Second Cup cafe here in Guelph where I liked to go, so when I was in AZ with my husband, I'd hear that song, and I'd want to go home! LOL Now we're both together in Canada.

Wow! Thanks for the best response, and you seemed to understand that I meant to type "I am not a Michael Jackson fan" not "song." LOL My fingers got away from my brain. :)
