Last week I was really board and not exactly feeling in the best mood but find it a little comforting to try and keep busy, so I ran arin's and cleaned my apt and after I was done I felt a bit better, how about you all do you clean when your board or depressed too?

I don't mind having a disorganized living area. As long as i can walk around it's ok with me. I will clean up if i'm having people over but that's the only reason. I would feel rude if i had friends over and my house was dirty. When i'm bored i will just go on the computer or turn on the tv. hah. The last thing i would do was probably clean my room.

keeping ourselves busy when bored or depress makes us take of our minds with depress. i empty my closet and clean it when i am depress. i see clothes that i know was lost and can wear it again lol. i also sometime find money inside my closet. i forget the low feeling i have once i make myself busy. i stay away also on tv shows or dvd movies that would make me feel low more.

I clean sometimes when I'm depressed. Not so much when I'm bored. I do often clean when I don't feel well. I don't know why, maybe to get my mind off my physical symptoms. When I start to get a migraine I find myself cleaning everything in sight. Of course that could be because when a migraine comes on, I know I won't be doing anything for quite a while!

well I don't like clutters and mess so cleaning is something I have to do regularly I read that cleaning does help relieve stress and it does exactly that to me so it's a good thing I don't like mess anyway but depression I think it needs more than just stress relief I was mildly depressed during the first 6 months of recession I forced myself out of it by accepting the situation as it and focus on surviving it helps that I have a supportive husband and it was a mild one if it was severe I wouldn't know how to get out of it without medication

Lately, since work is piling up, I don't have time to be bored. But when I was out of connection or my pc crash days ago, I would do all the chores! I even iron 16 pairs of dress (my dress come in pairs) non stop! After all that was done, I start bathing all my cats, clean their cages and even their basket (my cats sleep in their basket, those cages are used when I am traveling) I also reread some of my books. When the weather's clear, I forced my sister to play badminton with me.

I find that when i am bored or angry i tend to find things to do to relieve the bordom as like the usual spring clean i start off with good intentions to clean the whole house, but then i get side tracked. What with having 6 children to clean up behind i find that i am just as bored as all i tend to do is the same all the time anyway.

Cleaning isn't really my way of expressing boredom. I usually drink, shop or go out of town.

Yes i do. When I am bored or depressed, i usually keep myself busy through cleaning, watching, drawing or playing with my pets. It never fails to fight depression and boredom.Ü

When I'm bored or depressed I either listen to music or write something. In regard to your question, do I clean when I'm bored? yes, sometimes I do but only my room and the kitchen when I feel the need to.
