Why do love hurts?

Everybody knows that love hurts. It can be lifes greatest joy or most enduring pain. Nothing wounds us more to love someone who does not return our love. If love is so important to have that one doesn't want to loose, why is it when we find true love we often don't notice it? Why do people have to loose things to find out what they really mean? You can close your eyes to things you don't wnt to see, But you can't close your heart to things you don't want to feel. Have a nice day to all of you!

Perhaps the Italian proverb; "l'amore fa passare il tempo, il tempo fa passare l'amore" puts it in perspective; "love makes time pass, time makes love pass." An antidote to all that pain!

Love hurts because love has got the edge to hurt somebody! Love gives you a lot so, it wants to take something from you in return! So, why are you asking this dear? Do you know why love is so sweet? Love is so much sweet because it hurts someone! This is why we cannot forget love! Ahem!

As far as I am concered, love hurts because when you are in love, you care too much about the other one, sometimes you care him or her more than yourself. You hope he or she always think the same with you, however, this is not often the case. Just because love hurts, you will cherish it when you feel it sweet.

Hi colydf, even love hurts we keep on going, it never stop as for loving the person cause it's part of the real meaning of love and that is getting hurt. Even we can't discribe the feeling of hurt, it's still better to feel love and be wanted too. Anyway have a nice day to you!

Love hurts because, you investment,care, idolize, sometimes worship the person you fall in love with and majority of the time we get hurt. We see what we want to see and not what is really there. When we find true love and we don't notice it, its because, we don't know what true love really is.

Hi tamsuder610, Love can make us happy, can get the pain of getting hurt. But you only realized your in love when you really feel hurt. Love and life is what we make, our choices even sometimes is a biggest mistake but better to have love than not feeling love at all. Have a nice day to you!

Love hurts because it is the one we feel necessary and not ready to give it up.Will anyone give up the thing that is most important and necessary for them.We think that love is one among them.And because of this possessiveness in love we exaggerate it and it looks hurting.

Love for me is beautiful feeling and is very much painfull. i say love is like wonder,joy n evertin it cant be seen but u can feel it.only some will get dat pure love!!!

Hi reulin, I think real love is hard to find. Sometime we only know the meaning of love when we get disappointed and getting hurt. Even when we try to answer the pain,it can't be descibed. What we can only learned from this and never do the same mistakes and that is loving to much that sometimes we forget ourselves. Still we go on and never stop for the real person who could love us more. To make our tears to stop and forget the sorrow we had and mistakes to change for something better. Everybody knows that love hurts.it is true buddy love always hurts when we lost our love for years when it hurt it effect whole you life sometime when we lost we lost all our dreams thinks that i mut not go after that person that my fault sometimes makes so angry change a personal 's behaviour so love can hurt you so much entirely so much,so betteri advice you all to not love serioulsy do not dream much as love so hard your hurt with same as you love that person so think wisely before you pray.

Hi sathis2018, We only know we love that person when we get the feeling of hurt and pain. But we learned from this pain and we get stronger. Love and life is a journey we make. Even we fall will still stand, and it just happens that we fall in love again even so many times we tried and it's usally a dream still we tried then not trying to prove our love to them even it hurts. Hi prashanthalave, I think love and life is a journey.We get hurt but we keep on going strong.Cause we learned from this pain. We can only know were in love when we feel hurt. Yes it is true that love is not selfish and not expecting in return. Love is blind! We get blinded with our feelings and emotions that we just want it to last. it's really a pholosophical topic.
If you got hurt deeply it would mean you was in love deeply. it's not too bad experience.
the worse one is some people never fall in love or be loved. it's a disaster of life, isn't it.
i don't feel afraid of being hurt in love relationship, i just wish i can love somebody then i don't care what will happen in the future.
Also I clearly realised love is not the only thing in my life, i should find more open world and give me more connection with people.

Hi sblossom, I think we never stop travelling and learning from this. We learned from this pain and we get stronger from this hurts. I also believe that there's alaways has a reason but hard to understand and discribe this pain. No man is an island. But hoping everything could work out,and make it last. I agree, Love can be both, the greatest joy or most enduring pain!! I've gone through the second one, it was an ordeal for me!!
Yeah, its strange that we don't even know when we are in love. That is perhaps because we "tend" to maintain the relation (most of the times, friendship) that we don't realize the feeling of love and moreover, inspite of knowing that we love the other person, we may lose them just because of the fear of rejection, shuddering to contemplate it!!
And its really a big deal to control the feelings, as rightly said, you can't close your heart!!

Hi whizkid08, I think even friendship hurts sometimes, cause everything has always an ending even relationship. We just know the person is special or important or in our heart we we lost them. But this pain makes as stronger. I think that is life goes and we never can't describe the feeling of hurt and to be love. Anyway have a nice day to you!

It's not love that hurt us.LOVE is GOD,and GOD is LOVE.
It's mans actions that hurt us,or hurt someone we love.
Even if how we tried to make a relationship perfect,there is still things that went wrong beyond our control.And it is a common knowledge that we realize how much we love her/him,when we already lost that person.
