regarding tags

hi mylot friends, what is meant by tag,the necessity of the tag,is it compulsory to use tag for all our postings,i have not observe clearly that discussion,response and comment also need tags,and what is the use of tags, if we use tag what will happen,if we does not use tag ? by using and not using tags the earning portion will give any effect or not? please any mylot friends can give detailed information ?

i think earnings is based on the response itself not tags. also on the pictures that you download. i hope that answers your querry. have a nice day. ann

Sometimes tags do help to get more responses. When you start a discussions you will find similar discussions, so this discussions are the ones which are having tags similar to yours. So maybe some while answering yours may answer that to. In the same way yours also will be showing on their discussions. Well it is not mandatory to tags but its good if you add it. Happy Mylotting.

using or not using tags have nothing to do with our earnings... it is just there to help us and my lot organize the discussions we made and for easier search...

Hi, friend. Tags are useful if not necessary. Tags link similar discussions. If you are searching for a useful discussion, the search engine searches it not by topic (as it takes time) but by the use of keywords that we call as tags here. Also, all discussions with same tags will be located if search is made with tags, thus increasing the possibility of finding the required information. But, tagging or not tagging a discussion does not have any effect on our earnings or mylot reputation. Happy Mylotting!!
