What is travel warning ?
After the bombing in Jakarta, many countries that announced the travel warning to its citizens not to travel to Indonesia. (such as the U.S. and Australia)
Was it because the situation is considered unsafe Indonesia?
I dare to guarantee that almost all the Indonesian people will feel happy and welcome the coming of the foreign tourists.
Perhaps the only 0.00001% ( terrorist )that does not like the condition of a peaceful and developing countries to be large and modern country.
But 99.99999% of the people of Indonesia and the Indonesian government will be happy with the presence of tourists.
so, do not hesitate to pay a visit to Indonesia.

It is really sad that there has been a bomb in Jakarta. I have been to Sumatra in Indonesia. I know that the country is made up from many different islands like Bali for example and that is very popular with tourists. Bali had a bomb years ago that I remember hearing about. I expect that no more bombs will happen in the near future in Indonesia. The problem can be getting travel insurance when countries foreign offices have a given travel warning about visiting a particular country. Other countries offices are likely to say the same. I hope that Indonesia will be a safe place to go to and tourists will still want to visit.

Yup, terrorist action to create a bad effect in all sectors, including tourism.
I hope the foreign tourists to stay interested in visiting Indonesia is famous for its natural wealth and the various tourist places (especially its Komodo Island)

I have been to Israel so I know that a traveler can be nervous when bombing happens. I know Indonesia is an excellent country for traveling and prices are cheap to reasonable. The Indonesian people are really friendly. It only takes one or two idiots to scare people unfortunately with their bombing. Good luck to Indonesia's tourism.

I am also trying to imagine how feels the tourists if they place the thrust of conflicts and not safe.
But we people of Indonesia is not afraid of terrorists, because we believe that the terrorist will not be able to live long in Indonesia.

Due to terrorist attacks, i guess it's safer to aviod indonesia at the moment.. Because that was not the first attack over in indonesia as there's a much powerful bombing that happened in bali as well.. Plus, i think those terrorist are just too desperate that they are bombing anywhere they like, especially where there are alot of foreigners..
To terrorists, they dun care as long as ple are not of asian blood, or muslim believers, they will kill us all..

The victim as a result of terrorist action is also from Indonesia and other result of terrorist action, Manchester United does not play with the all star Indonesia team. In fact, I already patient to want see Wayne Rooney so closely (that can also want his Signature) and that's all just go away because Terrorist action.
Oh .. my dream to meet with Wayne Rooney is Gone

It is advisable to follow or obey what the governemnt has to warn the public especially when it is for the safety of the people. So, for me,i have to postpone my trip if there is travel warning because of course bombings or such tragedies cannot be avoided.

I will not travel outside of the United States due to the terrible things happening all over the country. Since 9/11 I have pledge not to travel outside of the United States because its just to dangerous. If fact after 9/11 I swore I would never get on a plane but since 2005 I have traveled by plane more so than before 9/11. I will not travel to Indonesia or any other country its just to scary.

It is a sad thing. I know Indonesia is a very beautiful country, with friendly people and beautiful beaches. I really want to travel there one day. I hope that these terrorists will be caught and people can feel relaxed to travel in Indonesia.

Travel warning from a government, is warning that announce by one government to it citizens regarding a safety to travels to certain countries. I do understand how they feel and why they issued a travel warning since one government must protect and ensure the safety of their citizens where ever they are.
Just like us want to always make sure our family safety.
I know, maybe only 0.0001% of the populations will do a terrorist act. But the act of minority could effect a life of majority, and travel warning is one of the result.

I'm sure there are a lot nice Indonesians, yourself included, but still, people are afraid, especially Americans. I don't have any money to travel, myself, but most people don't want to go over there and get involved in something.
There's good and there's bad people everywhere. I might have told you this before,
I don't remember, but my parents and I went to Europe in 1973. I remember my parents didn't much want to go at first because they were worried about all the bombings that were going on over there all the time back then.
I talked them into it, though. I'm just glad we didn't have any problems like that while we were over there. Kathy.

so, we fear that if traveling to areas where the problem / have conflict on there. but, Indonesia is no problem, just yesterday turbulence terrorist act who only want to create fear and disrupt the order.

I guess some people fear that it might be a chance to take. Once these people(the ones who are responsible for the bombing) are arrested, maybe it won't happen again, at least I hope not. Maybe everything will be back to normal once they are in prison. It's people like these that make americans afraid to travel anywhere overseas. Happy mylotting! Kathy.

Travel warning is a serious issue that makes people will think twice and even more before visiting a country. It just make people don't feel safe in the country, afraid something can happen to them. It doesn't only hit our tourism, but is is certainly will hit our investment and business, since people will not go here to talk business or invest their money in unsure politic and security climate. They afraid their factory or business can be attacked anytime....It makes me worried this year Indonesia economics will be bad for the rest of the year. Let's hope it won't be like that

Indonesia only victim of brutality by the west country side called the terrorist who want the situation in indonesia is not stable.
Indonesia is so secure that country, if many country issued a travel warning policy is a policy i think is excessive, so lets visit the indonesia.
