Will you starved yourself just to lose weight?

Do you think that starving yourself help you to lose weight? I don t think, i am sure that you will lose just your health. you will lose energy, you will lose muscles, not fat, and your stomach will have bad damage. Can be a solution just for few days, if you go to a party and want to wear old clothes, when you was skinny, but nothing more. Is so dangerous, are food who really help you to lose weight, and one is...even is very strange, cabbage, is a vegetable, who if you eat you will lose weight faster, here we have a good soup based on cabbage who help a lot, and you can eat as much as you want and can. Starving yourself is not a good solution.

Hi marianna, As you yourself rightly pointed out, starving for a long period of time is very harmful for one's health. The best way to loose weight would be by eating right, cutting down on one's intake and replacing by less fattening foods, exercise and lots of water. I feel that a balanced diet with lots of water and regular exercise is the best way to loose weight...But starving is good when we do it once in a while. Just taking liquids, juice and soup is good for the body..I do it some days and it feels really good..All the best and happy mylotting

Nope and that is a very bad idea to try to do. To loose weight drink lots of water. try to walk at least 1 hour a day.And when your hungry you can eat but do so in small portions.

Okay, think about this logically. If you starve yourself your body will start to STORE the fat and it won't burn off as easily. Eat healthy and get a healthy amount of exercise and you will get GOOD results.

I won't starve myself to lose weight. I know it's useless to do so. Eat correctly. That will help to lose weight. Besides that, do some suitable exercises.

I don't recommend it.it will cause a lot of damage to your health. it will make you weak and fragile.it will make you susceptible to diseases because you immune system will get weak.if you'd like to lose weight,better eat healthily and exercise.

hmm... well I have started doing some long distance walking/jogging for a few months now. and in order to magnify its results i have started to eat less then i normally do. I don't think it starving myself, because i'm at least eating. what do you think? Exercising actually makes me more hungry than on a normal day. after finishing lunch or dinner, i usually feel like i could eat all i just ate, again. is that weird? i'm not overweight or anything.. i'm just trying to get a slimmer waist. i have a straight waist which doesn't look flattering at all.

I don't think so this is really a no no in loosing weight,.if your into this,then you maybe will get the desired body that you want.But are you healthy?!do you think your situation with loosed weight help you a lot or adding more of your problem?you can get lots of sickness because of improper diet.If you really want to lose weight do it in natural way using proper diet,consult a doctor aboutthe do's and ont's of it..healthy and fit body to be exact!

starved oneself to lose weight? It sounds stupid. If you really have done such a silly thing, it will be counter-productive. because it will make you want to eat more food when you are hungry. it also not good for your health. i think the best way to lose weight is going to bed earlier and getting up earlier. it sounds no scientific basis but it really very effective. if someone want to lose weight just try it it will give you a surprise

Hi There! Even if i wanted to i wouldn't be able too cuz by the end of the day i would have been six feet under but anyway i wouldn't need to starve myself cuz i don't need to and i don't think its healthy either. One might not realise it not but might affect the body in the long run. cheers!

the whole key to losing weight is portion control,eating more fruits & vegetables, eating at least 1 protein at each meal, drinking lots of water, eating foods with whole grains & fiber & at least 30 minutes of exercise 3 times a week....I learned all this by doing weight watchers & lost 60 lbs! By starving yourself you are just jeopardizing your health & well-being...even just skipping a meal or 2 a day is not the answer either cuz when you do eat you will be so hungry you will eat more then you should & could actually cause weight gain.

Starving yourself to lose weight is a terrible idea. Your body needs all the nutrients from the food in order to have energy. It is very bad for your health. A poor diet or starving yourself weakens your body and its natural defense mechanisms leaving you vulnerable to many diseases.

I want I lose weight,so what I am doing is dancing with the Rocky Horror Picture Show.It takes a lot of work to keep up,but I do my best!

Nope, you don't need to starve just to lose weight, simple walking, jogging or shall we say exercise and proper diet can lose weight safely. It's the best way I think, you just don't lose weight, it's also a healthy way of improving your lifestyle, to be more active.

I completely agree with you Marianna. Starving yourself is only a quick fix that will ultimately ruin your metabolism. Your body will go into a starvation mode and your metabolism will slow down. Not to mention that your overall health will be in poor shape! I never understand why people choose to do something like that. The best way to lose weight is to eat healthy and exercise. We all know that. Sometimes I think people are too lazy to try and lose weight the right way just because it takes more effort!

Starving is not a good way for losing weight. Rather we need to have sufficient exercises based on adequate intake of food and good health. As often heard, 10,000 steps a day is a good way for people in need of weight control.

absolutely not!I think we should follow the rule of nature----to eat something if you hungry!the appearance is not the only standard to judge a person.We'd better to improve the inside instead of focusing on meaningless stuff like srarved yoourself just to lose weight.

When it comes to losing weight, starvation is not really the answer. What you said is right marianna. I think that if you starve yourself, you will only crave for more. So my advise would go to eating small frequent meals which consists of fruits and veggies. Salad can help, too.Ü have a nice day!Ü

I never believe in starving myself in order to loose weight. I think I'll faint if I skip my breakfast or lunch. Ideally is to exercise but I don't have the time. Therefore I prefer to watch my diet, less carbohydrates, less sugar, less fat but more greens with lean meat. It helps and I don't have to worry about my health..
