Do you remember the moon landing?

It still amazes me that it's been 40 years since the moon landing. I remember it, and remember how amazed my grandparents were with the whole thing. Now, we got to space on a regular basis, and it barely gets a mention on the news. Do you remember where you were and how you felt during the first moon walk?

I remember when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon and my friend named his son who was born on the same day Neil Arms and their family name was Chong so the boy's name was Neil Arms Chong.

Sounds pretty far fetched, but funny nonetheless.

I just get so furious when people say that it was faked. The Apollo program might be the greatest achievement of this country, and is certainly one of the greatest for humanity. To say that an event of this level of importance was faked would be comical, if there weren't so many people saying it.

I remember the ealier space flights, because the entire school would be brought to the commons area to watch the one television the school owned. I would have been in my mid teens when the moon landing took place, and I remember it as well. It was less of a big deal by that time, and since it was summer time, it was not made a lot of at school.

40 years, that's all, it seems like much longer ago. I do remember it, was fasinated and amazed at the thought of it happened but can't for the life of me remember where I was - keep thinking was in California but I would have been around 8 at the time.

I haven't born even at that time when there was a moon landing. I heard and read about it and am happy that this event actually happened. And people have actually reached on moon. But whenever history repeats on TV, I feel glad to see it and get really excited about things on it.
