Scott Peterson, the man convicted of killing his wife Lacey Peterson and their unborn son Conner is seeking fincial help from the public for his appeal. His family has set up a website asking people to donate money to help raise the 94,000 or 96,000(I cant remember the amount the article said) needed for his appeal. I just wanted to know people's thoughts on him and his family doing this. This crime was a very sensative one in which the whole nation was capatived. A movie was even made about his mistress Amber Frey. I know everyone has a right to an appeal but do you think it was/is wise for his family to go about raising money in this way because of the nature of this crime and how high profile this case is?

Personally I wouldn't give him any help in his appeal. I think sitting in jail is right where he needs to be. They need to find out what happened to his last wife and I think he knows right where her remains are. I also think that any woman that becomes involved with him needs her head examined. LOL Got them mixed up. I still wouldn't help with Scott Peterson's appeal either. Why should he get a second chance when he took the lives of his wife and son? They don't get a second chance. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I truly am appallad, if what you say is correct! My gosh, the man was a Dentist, owned a home, possibly he spent it all on his first defence! Too bad! Yes..it was a high profile case, lots of coverage, and from everything that I saw...the man does not deserve the support of the general public, for an appeal! He should have thought of all of this before ending the lives of his wife & son! Many of the stories that I saw portrayed him as a "ladies man", and Amber was not the only woman in the mix. There were many others! My opinion, he is a snake...and his family should be ashamed of themselves asking for support, in any manner! Cheers1

his family will always stand by him, and they truly believe that he is innocent. I would not contribute , because I believe he is guilty. I am am outsider looking in.
