you see the front cover of a mag and see advertised 30 dresses from 5 pounds and you think oh brilliant i'm going on holiday i can buy lots of summer dresses and then you turn to the page and there are 2 out of the 30 that are 5 pound and the rest are near 50 pounds, but i guess that is how they get you to buy the mag

I know I hate that sort of thing too, or I totally HATE it when a magazine will say like "50 Thrifty Looks ", and the outfits are like $200, and they say that's thrifty???? Or they compare designer prices to knockoff prices, and the knockoff dresses are still like $100 and up, what average woman really will pay that much for one summer dress? I sure as heck won't.
