Have you voted? Do you vote only in the presidential elections or local ones too?

I vote in all elections. The local ones are just as important, as they have a direct effect on where I live. And besides that, if I don't vote, I don't really have a voice to complain/praise the things that are going on. If I hadn't voted on this past presidential election, would I really be right in complaining about the state of the nation right now? I don't like people who just sit back and don't vote, and then complain when things go a different way than they would like. Those people should go vote!

I generally only vote in the presidential elections, but it depends what the issues are. I want to vote more but unfortunately voting usually means taking time off work.

I vote in all of them. National, state and local. I think people focus far too much on national and congressional elections. The true power of our vote is found in our state elections and is actually far more important to the nationional state of things. This might sound like an odd way to look at it until you consider the fact that our federal government and many of it's actions has no power our state's don't give it. I have been harping on this point for a long time now. this is how we reign in our federal government, by electing state governments that stand up for their states and do not allow the national government more authority than is alocated to it in the constitution.

Yup! I am voting in any elections that will be held in our country. I am voting for Presidential as well as local elections, my friend. We need to vote so that we can participate in creation of good governance...how about you. Did you vote only for presidential election?
