Why do you think we were born?

I believe that the purpose of souls coming to earth is not to satisfy selfish desires but rather to make it a better place for all to live. Some will say that we are here to learn yet what better way to learn than working together for the betterment of all? What are you thoughts?

Hi efc, The term refers to the belief that souls exist before being born into physical bodies. Blessings.

So far, your are advocating a belief, something that you believe in. But can you tell me about your soul that existed before your father and mother got together? Secondly, since your soul came to earth where do you assume it was?

We were born to pay our karmic debts . Once our karmic debts for this life have been paid , we have to depart like the patrons of an inn. Happy mylotting !

WHY NOT TO ASK THE CREATOR ALMIGHTY WHY HE CREATED US ?? God Almighty clearly says in His last Divine Book, the Holy Quran: "I HAVE NOT CREATED THE JINN(GHOSTS) AND MEN EXCEPT FOR THIS THAT THEY SHOULD WORSHIP ME." (Surah Adh-Dhariyat,Chap 27,Verses 56,57,58) So we are required to worship Him alone without indulging in Polytheism, which is the biggest and most heinous sin in Islam and Quran. Please think over your aim of life in the light of the last divine verdict of God Almighty.........And then you will surely succeed in both your lives.......amen !!

We are chips off the Old Block (the Old Block being God) and we do not begin life at birth- life just continues. It does appear that we learn as we live, but this is an illusion. To make reincarnation work we must forget the past, and experience the future. We are "born" to experience and to that end we create our lives moment by moment. Past lives seen via meditation, quickly reveal the progression made in each lifetime. We are seldom tempted to relive a past life, and always eager to create an experience in the Glorious Future.

Howdy Pose123!... So we can meet here altogether "again" to answer "again" your question of yours Pose123? I quoted "again" because I think we already have this moment of again and again. hahahhahhaha o yeah boy we are on some kind of a time wrap of going back and back again. Because I believe with what curious888 about the law of Karma. The debts are the mistakes or our imperfections to make it balance. And when we already master the balancing of Karma can have another level of spiritual evolution of intelligence and awareness until we achieve to the highest or upper most level. To the others it is heaven or to be One with God. Mastering karma in the level of Christians it is having Christ consciousness and awareness and I mean it is the Christ self that it is within our own soul that connects to God. Some souls are already on the different level of intelligence and awareness or its spiritual evolution are much higher level. That's why there some kind of Mozart or Beethoven 8 yr old child. Anyway Mozart is just only child and already mastering the art of music. Or a child with personality of an adult. And for the others who are born with disabilities or handicap, that soul needed a critical karma that must be balance. And of course we live on this world, because we have individual roles we have to deal with accordingly to the law of karma and spiritual. Thanks and Enjoy!... myLot!...

Human beings are the only living organisms that are obsessed with the "Why" of existence and the "Why" of being born. There really doesn't have to be a reason. Nature and life exists as it is, and changes happen over time. Life is always on the move and resists remaining static and unchanging. Things are just the way they are, because that's the way they came to be. Is it possible that things could have been very different? Yes, because life is dynamic and ever-changing.

Hello Pose. It is an interesting question to have been raised as to why we were born. I think that in the first place it is not what we can choose to be born or not as it is our parents that make the decision. hehehe. Since we were born, I think that we have the duty or responsibility to make some improvement and progress for the society and make some innovations as well. We also have to make the world a peaceful one without making wars to make humans suffer any more unnecessary wars and so on. Thank you so much for the discussion, dear friend.

Hi williamjisir, Thanks for commenting. It's true that our parents had to do their part lol!. I think you would agree though that there is more to us than the physical body, in fact I rarely think of myself as my body. I believe that you have the right idea as to what we should be doing now that we are here. Blessings.

Like God (yeah.. I'm gonna toss the Bible into the discussion.. don't slap me!) told Adam.. it is not good that man should be alone. I think we are here to keep each other company and to teach and to learn from those around us, some of life's hardest lessons are easier with someone there beside you.. and probably the nicest gift in the world is having someone to share some of life's sweetest blessings with. It truly isn't good for anyone to be alone. God knew his creation.. and he knew being alone would hurt to much. Even God, himself, didn't like being alone :)

Hi Little_Stormy, Thank you for that comment and I agree that it isn't good to be alone. Having a partner in life can certainly give it more joy as well as well as help to us learn patience lol! Blessings.

We're born maybe to experience life. hehe corny but we're lucky to be a part of the creation. Everything we do maybe is supposed to protect and preserve this creation. So we have to do things in order to survive. We learn to take the challenges of existence with this so called world.

I believe that the reason why I am here on earth and why I live is to worship my God, the Creator of heaven and earth. For me to worship Him, I need to learn how to love my neighbors as I love myself. Thus, I learn to work together with others. Pose, I totally agree with you....:)
