Contrary to comventional wisdom that arranged marriages are more 'stable'than 'love' marriages a recent study reveals it is the other way round. As per the study conducted by FCC, 80% of the cases of matrimonial disputes that came to the Centre for counselling were arranged marriages.\ Different habits and parental interference were reasons for disputes in arranges marriages. Maximum number of problems were reported in the early years of marriage. Of 50 cases reported,30 couples faced diputes in the first 3 years of marriage. In 12 cases disputes arose between 4 and 9 years after marriage. While in the other 8 cases disputes arose after 12 years of marriage. According to the survey age diference also played a part in matrimonial discord. COUPLES WITH LESS AGE DIFFERENCE HAD MORE PROBLEMS THAN COUPLES WITH MORE AGE DIFFERENCE. COUPLES WITH BIG AGE DIFERENCE WERE FOUND TO BE MORE AT PEACE IN MARRIAGE. CASES IN WHICH THE AGE OF THE WIFE EXCEEDED THE HUSBAND ALSO CAUSED MATRIMONAIL PROBLEMS Is love marriage better than arranged marriage? IS it ok to marry someone with a huge age difference of between 12-15 years?

I agree that arranged marriages will no longer effective in the modern society. Even royalty will no longer entertain such arrangement. Today's generation is quite different than during the medieval times. Today we want more feelings towards one another than merely consider one aspect. Personally, I don't like arranged marriage especially if I don't like the guy.

arranged marriages is really not stable unlike the marriage done because of love. because first of all both of the party dont have any idea who he/she is marrying. second, positively 75% of them dont like their partner-to-be because of the traits. it isnt true that you can teach yourself to love someone. its like forcing yourself to love.
